Chapter 10 Dori

Chapter 10

 Dori

“HOLY HERA!!!!! TWO MORE BIG THREE?!” Chiron shouted in joy, when they were claimed.

“I don’t think Hera’s that holy.” Annabeth stated.

Tons, she means, TONS of people got claimed this week.

Kamryn got claimed this morning to Hades. Victoria also got claimed 5mins after them to Zeus. So Molly, Sara, and Emma still have to get claimed.

They talked about the quest and what they thought the prophecy met. Soon they were leaving the Big house.

It was almost dinner time and today they had capture the flag. I am going to die, Dori thought, Wow, really thinking positive Dori. Hey look at the bright side; they have Percy and Annabeth on their side.

Right then the conch horn blew. Dori got in line and walked with Percy and Corinne to the dinning pavilion.

“So…” Percy said thoughtfully, “It feels weird walking with people.”

“Oh no!” Dori gasped, “It is weird having friends! And being social? No way.”

“No, just to have sisters.” Percy stated.

“I know.” Dori answered, “Were you ever in the Hermes cabin?”

“Yep, that was a long time ago though…like 6 years ago, I think.” Percy replied.

“Wow, so long ago.” Corinne sarcastically said.

“Yep.” Percy said oblivious to the sarcasm being the water boy he is.

Soon they got there and satyrs were passing out camp plates. Dori took one and stepped up to the fiery brazier.

“Dad; Please keep Percy and the other 7 safe.” Dori said as she threw her ripest strawberry in.

After a couple of minutes into dinner, Chiron stomped his hoof on the table.

“Demigods!”

They all grew silent.

“Thank you.” Chiron continued, “Tonight, after dinner, we will play capture the flag. Let me announce the teams.”

The leader of Ares, Clarisse, got up to get her red flag. Annabeth, who was a leader of Athena, got up to get her blue flag. If they get put up against Athena or Ares…they’re dead.

“The Athena cabin has picked their team cabins first: Hecate, Nike, Tyche, Demeter, Aphrodite, Dionysus, and Poseidon.” He announced.

They had a pretty good team, but why would the Athena cabin pick the Poseidon cabin?...Annabeth. Annabeth wanted the Poseidon cabin. It is part of her master plan and her master plan was good.

Chiron continued, “And the Ares cabin picked next: Nemesis, Zeus, Apollo, Iris, Hermes, Hypnos, Hephaestus, and Hades. Good luck.”

As they walked out of the dinning pavilion Rachel came over to them.
