Y/n pov 

The huntress was still snuggling into them as the survivors stared. Y/n tapped the huntress on the shoulder.

Y/n: do you want to meet them?

The huntress looked over at the group, y/n saw how they all looked away and avoided her gaze. The huntress looked back to y/n and smiled.

Y/n: don't worry, their nice. 

Y/n led her by the hand to the group who all backed up a little in fear. Y/n could understand how they felt but they didn't know her like they did. Laurie and sally were  close behind them. Y/n gave a short version of how they came to be with the huntress. 

Y/n: it's ok everyone, come say hi.

They all hesitated but the first to step forward was Jake. He slowly made his way up to the huntress and held out his hand.

Jake: H-hello m-miss

The huntress looked at his hand then back at him, she shook his hand gently. Second came meg

Meg: hi

She gave a little wave. The huntress only nodded. 

Bill walked straight up to the huntress and folded his arms 

Bill: if you ever lay a hand on the kid I swear....

He was cut off as the huntress stepped forward and grabbed him by the shirt lifting a little off the ground. He got the message. She dropped him glaring. 

Y/n: it's not like that, she saved me. She doesn't hurt me.

The huntress placed an arm around the child hugging them close.

All of the survivors were still wary of her as she held y/n. They were also very uncomfortable with the nurse floating right behind her. 

Sally: Hello 

She says happily. The others start to talk to Laurie asking her questions while y/n and the huntress sat down against a tree, sally also sat near them she ruffled y/ns hair making them laugh. She liked their laugh. 

The survivor seemed to be arguing but soon came to an agreement.

Dwight: ok we talked it out and we have decided that it would probably be best if y/n stayed here with us, they might be safer

The huntress face changed from happiness to anger. She stood up to her full hight towering above all of the survivors. 

Laurie: just so you know I didn't agree to this

Bill: we can't just hand over a six year old kid to a killer bunny lady

Y/n: that's ok guys but I'd rather stay with mommy.

Bill: you don't understand kid, she's a heartless killer 

Y/n: she's not heartless, she loves me, and I love her. 

Claudette: I have an idea, maybe before we piss off the woman and her child we should all rest up a bit. You miss must be tired after your trip here.

She glared at bill and Dwight silenceing them with her gaze 

Claudette: we are sorry if we have insulted you in any way. 

The huntress nodded and held her hand out to y/n and they took it as she led them to a soft place near the fire. She laid down on the ground and y/n did as well as she wrapped her arms around them. 

Claudette: good night you two.

She turned to her group 

Claudette are you two serious, she was gonna kill you. Plus we didn't agree on that the two of you don't call the shots.

Bill: but...

Claudette: shut it! This woman is y/ns mother even if not by blood. You can't take a mother's child away from her. They go with her.

Sally had floated over behind them and decided that she had heard enough.

Sally: and all of you couldn't stop us from leaving even if you tried. 

They all jumped at her voice 

Bill: now listen here you floating bit...

Sally: no, you listen. Y/n belongs with their mother. None of you can change that. 

With that she floated back to y/n and the huntress sitting against a tree near them. 

Laurie: you guys haven't seen them outside the trials, you don't know what their like. Their different. 

She also went over to y/n and the huntress laying across from them. 

Jake: well that went well
