Chapter 8- Why Corey

Laura's P.O.V

"Laura calm down, He just wants to protect you", Devyn says trying to calm me down.

"PROTECT ME, PROTECT ME... FROM WHAT. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT FROM. *takes a deep breath* Something I did caused Colby to do that, it was my fault, not his. Corey doesn't know the story.", I say sitting on the edge of the bed.

We hear screaming, but ignore it.

"He's your older brother Laura, He wan't you to be safe... Yes he doesn't know your side of the story but he saw your arms and assumed Colby hurt you. Kat was trying to tell him all day that Colby just had a reaction." She says joining me and hugged me.

"Sorry for yelling at you Devyn, I just don't understand why he's doing this to me", I say hugging her back and she just smiles.

Colby's P.O.V

Laura walks with Devyn looking sad and sorry for me.

"Dude, I didn't mean to do it", I say looking down upset.

"Yeah, yeah Bro. You hurt her physically", He says

"Corey... *Laura screams I hate Corey, Corey looks up*. Listen, what Alex said to me before leaving me because when I broke up with her, that ran through my mind and, I panicked", I say, causing him to look at me with a frown.

"Dude, are you ok", I ask

"My sister now hates me, This is the first time ever shes hated me" He says *protect me... protect me... from what. I don't understand what from*, We hear and Corey walks to the back yard and screams in frustration but also sadness.

"Corey, She's going through a phase. Years of not hating you, it was bound to happen, it's a sibling thing. She'll get over it, I say walking up to him.

"Am I a bad person?" He asks.

"No. If the same thing happened to me if I had a sister, I would do the same thing... How long has she been a fan of us?" I ask.

"Like since 400 followers on Vine I don't know, a long time tho", He says.

"She's only mad because your 'taking away' her favorite person", I say, it looked like he knew what I meant.

"Should I talk to her?", He asks. "Nah let her breath, she needs some space", I say.

We go inside and go into the kitchen and get some water.

Devyn walks down and gets some water for her and Laura.

"Is she really mad at me?", Corey asks Devyn, she just looks down and says "I'm not gonna lie *looks up* She's mad, when shes calm down a bit more, ask her what happened, you haven't heard her side of this story, your assuming", She gives Corey a kiss on the cheek and walks back up.

Laura's P.OV

Devyn comes back with the water. "Thanks Dev... Are they still talking?" I ask.

"No but Corey is upset for what he did. He wants to hear you out" She says, I just look down.

"I can't talk to him, I'm still mad", I say taking a sip of my drink, She just smiles a little.

"I might get Elton to take me out for a bit. I don't know", I say getting up. "Ok, stay strong ok" She says hugging me and I hug back.
