Cold As Ice [Snowbarry]

Part 1

The story will occur in Barry's loft. Barry held a dinner for them to celebrate their recent win against the meta human whom they have been trying to capture the entire week.

*ting*

The message popped up on her phone

"Dinner at my place. 6 pm?"
"You guys good with it?"
Barry sent

*ting*

Another message came in

"Yep!"
Cisco replied

"How about you Cait?"
Barry asked

"Yeah, I'm good with that"
"I'll come early, if you need help?"
Caitlin messaged

"Y-Yeah of course... Thanks, Cait :)"
Barry sent

Caitlin just arrived at her house from the lab.

Hours passed until she was done getting ready to go help Barry for the dinner at 6'o clock.

*ting*

"Will be there in 15 minutes!"
Caitlin messaged Barry

*ting*

Barry messaged her back

"Great! I'm already cooking the food"
"Need a lot of help! 😩"
He replied

"No worries! That's why I'm going there extra early because I'm gonna help you"
Caitlin replied

She left her apartment to help Barry at his loft.

*ding dong*

Barry flashed by the door and opened it

"Cait!"
He said while flashing a smile

"Bare, hey!"
She went for a hug

"Come in, come in!"
He said and as Caitlin walked in, he then closed the door.

"Mmm..."
"Smells like-"
Caitlin said

"Smells yummy...?"
He asked

"Hmm"
"Burning food...?"
She laughed

"Come"
"Look what I have prepared for us"
He showed her

"Oh! Is that-"
Caitlin smelled the food

"Yep, it's a turkey!!!"
He continued what she was saying

"Wow!"
"You've really prepared for the dinner"
She laughed

"Y-Yeah"
"But I'm not done yet!"
He said

"Woah"
"Well then... let's start?"
Caitlin smiled

They laughed

Minutes later, while they were cooking for the dinner, they had a conversation.

"So Cait..."
"Are you dating someone right now?"
He asked

"W-What?"
"Uhm no"
She answered

"Why'd you ask?"
She added

"W-Well..."
"It's been a long time since the last time I heard that you were going out with someone"
He said

"Y-Yeah..."
She said

"Any plans on finding your Mr. Right?"
"Or do you like someone right now?"
He asked again

"I do like someone right now... although I think he might not like me back because-"
"I-I actually think that I should just patiently wait for the "right guy" to come"
She answered

"Mmhmm"
He mumbled

"What about you?"
"Still like Iris?"
She curiously asked

"N-No"
"I actually like someone else"
"I have realized that Iris isn't the one for me because she's for Eddie"
"W-We both know that"
He explained

"Yeah"
She nodded

"And the girl I like right now..."
"She's simply amazing"
He glanced at her while saying that

"Can you describe what she looks like?"
Caitlin asked

*ding dong*

"Oh! I think it's them"
Caitlin said

"Yep, they are here"
He scratched his head

"Finish everything here now, I'll go open the door"
Caitlin said

He nodded

Caitlin opened the door as Barry used his powers to prepare everything that is left.

"Iris"
"Hey"
Caitlin said

"Oh hey Caitlin"
"You're early..."
Iris smirked

Barry flashed beside Caitlin and said
"She helped me prepare some stuff"
"Actually... most of it"

He laughed and puts his arms on her shoulder

"Mm-hmm"
"Oh, by the way, Eddie's just parking the car so I'll just wait for him here"
Iris said

"Oh okay"
Barry and Caitlin said

Then Cisco came

"Cisco!"
Caitlin said and hugged him

"Hey man!"
Barry smiled at him

Cisco handed out a bottle of wine

"Oh I'll get that"
Barry said

"My god, guys"
"What did you do earlier?"
"You both..."
"Seemed haggard"
Cisco told them

"W-What?"
Barry and Caitlin said

"Oh my. Do I look that... tired?"
Caitlin looked at Barry

"No, you're still looking beautiful, Ms. Snow"
"Don't worry"
He smiled

She blushed

"H-How about me?"
Barry asked

"Still looking flashy, Mr. Allen"
She winked

Cisco laughed to interrupt them

"No pun intended"
"Lol"
Cisco added

"I think I need to freshen up"
Caitlin left them and went to the bathroom

The moment after Caitlin left them, Cisco talked to Barry about what just happened

" "You still look beautiful" "
"And what was that for Barry?"
Cisco mocked him

"What?"
"I just complimented her"
"Nothing's wrong with that"
"I-I mean it's the truth though"
"She is beautiful"
"Isn't she?"
"Because I believe she is"
"I mean again, everyone's beautiful"
"So are you Cisco"
Barry explained

"Why are you like that? LMAO"
"Why are you so defensive huh?"
Cisco asked him

"Defensive?"
"You have got to be kidding me"
"I am not"
Barry explained again

"You like her, don't you?"
Cisco grinned

"W-What??! N-No"
Barry answered

"Hmm"
"Okay I'm convinced"
Cisco lied

"Thank you for calling me beautiful, Flash-y"
Cisco mocked Caitlin calling Barry Flashy

"Cisco"
"Can you not?"
Barry laughed
