If the consonant is doubled up, you simple double up the sound:
ㅂ becomes ㅃ; b becomes bb
You can also blend 2 vowels, which usually just means you combine the two sounds and start them with a 'w'sound or 'ui'sound:
ㅘ -water (wa)
ㅙ -wag (wa)
ㅚ- we (we)
ㅝ- wonder (wo)You can also notched vowel:
ㅕ- yup (yu)
ㅑ-y'all (ya)
ㅒ-yak (ya)
ㅛ -yo (yo)
ㅠ-yu (yu)It should always be noted that if you add 'ㅇ' to the end of a syllable it will make 'ng' sound
강-kang
방-bang
충-chung
