Lorelei's POV

Ever since I woke this morning, everyone was weird. Even Loki. Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin mawala sa isipan ko ang nangyari.

I just went out from the bathroom and went straight to the kitchen to make myself a coffee that time when...

"Good morning, Lorelei." Loki said, almost whispering. He was sitting at the living room...and he looks pale at the same time blushing? Is that even possible? Yes, of course. Loki is the proof. He averted his gaze from me and murmured something inaudible. "Why did I even accept their order? I am their president. How dare them."

I was stunned at the moment since it was unusual that he greeted me first. It is usually me who speaks the greetings. Tumango lang ako bilang kasagutan.

That is not the only scenario that is very weird for me.

When Loki and I were walking on the way to school, he looks agitated. He keeps looking at me. I stopped at my track.

"Loki, kanina ka pa tumitingin sa akin. It is either you want something from me or you just want to start a conversation. What is it?" I remember the similar line he spoke of when we first met each other and I was the one looking at him.

"Nothing." He walked pass by me. As usual, he walks as if he is in a hurry.

My moment of reminiscing was cut off when someone snapped their fingers in front of my face.

"Lori, okay ka lang?" Jamie seems worried. Acting like a real friend. It's been a while since the "betrayal" happened and I think, paunti-unti ko nang natatanggap ang paglilihim nila. Besides, I am also keeping a secret to them. How hypocrite, right?

"Yes, I'm fine."

Jamie clasped her hands and smiled. "Great! Can you come with Loki dear then?" What? Tama ba ang naririnig ko?

"Where? At bakit hindi na lang ikaw?"

"Gymasium. I'm kind of busy kasi and-- oh! Al just texted me. Baka kailangan niya ako." Al is in the canteen. Probably buying snacks.

"Bakit? Anong meron doon?" I questioned, stopping her from exiting.

"Ah eh--

"Are you coming with me or not? I can just come by myself." Loki said cutting off what Jamie was suppose to say.

"Alright. I'll go." Kahit hindi ko alam kung anong meron do'n. At kanina ko pa napapansin, iba rin 'yong kabaitang pinapakita ni Jamie.

She's also weird like Loki today. Usually, siya ang nagbo-volunteer para makasama si Loki.

I started walking with Loki on my side. But of course, Loki being Loki, he walks in a faster pace. Few minutes later, we arrived at the gym. My forehead creased when I saw that there was nothing peculiar that happened in the location.

Humarap ako kay Loki para tanungin kung bakit kami pumunta dito. Hindi pa man ako nakaharap ng mabuti ay may bigla na lang nagtakip ilong ko gamit ang panyo. May nakakahilong amoy ito dahilan para mawalan ako ng malay.

NAGISING ako sa isang madilim na kwarto. My body tensed up so I tried to calm myself. There's no point of panicking dahil hindi naman ito makakatulong. It'll just alarm the kidnapper if he's outside and if that happens, it will restrict all the possibilities I could do to escape from here.

Instead, I examined and observed the surrounding. It looks like a place around the school. I also hear someone chitchatting from afar. Sumilip ako sa bintana at nakita kong may mga estudyante sa kabilang building. I checked my wristwatch and saw that it's 4:45 pm. Ilang minuto na lang ay magri-ring na ang bell. Nakasuot pa rin ako ng uniform.
