Goodbye/ Chapter 8

Silence, a word that was used at this very moment. Libra didn't know how to react, she was just told she had a long lost brother. why didn't they tell me sooner? Why now? Libra thought to herself, "Where is he? Do u know how old he is? what does he look like?" Libra started to ask all these questions while each question was being asked she stepped closer and closer to the Likens. "hold on there for a bit Libra one question at a time" Mr. Likens said with his hands on her shoulders gently pushing her back for some room. "You and your brother are 2 year apart (19), he's Liu Okami and he is still in Japan but we don't know where in Japan." Mr. Likens said. Libra and Shadow looked puzzled, "What do you mean you don't know where he is?" Shadow asked "He disappeared a few weeks ago and we have been trying to track him but the orphanage wont allow any info on him" Mrs. Likens explained.

"So my parents left him at an orphanage.." Libra said kinda disappointed. "They couldn't take care of him they had no choice Libra" Mrs. Likens said. "But if they had no choice then why? Why did they have me?" Libra said looking up at them very upset. They didn't have an answer it was only 3 years and that wasn't enough time to make enough money for them. "im sorry Libra but this is all we know" Mrs. Likens said. "We don't have time to discuss Liu right now, we need to get you both packed" Mr. Likens said.

Libra and Shadow looked at them confused "Packed? for what?" Shadow asked. "You both will be moving to Japan to be trained how to use your powers safely" Mr. Likens said without hesitation. Libra and Shadow were not happy about this at all "SO you expect us to pick up and leave our old lives behind and just MAKE A NEW LIFE?!!" Shadow screamed. Libra didn't know how to feel, she didn't want to leave but at the same time she wanted revenge for her parents, she wanted her brother back. "Shadow" Libra said putting her hand on his shoulder "We don't have very much of a choice now do we?" Libra said. "Tisk" Shadow just sat down processing everything. "Alright then, I will go start packing" Libra said. "Ah wait Libra, here" Mrs. Likens tossed her a little suit case that fit the size of her hand.

"What's this?" Libra asked "Its a suit case that can fit anything in it, its magic that was used by other infinities, it can grow and shrink and you don't have to leave anything behind cause you don't have enough room in your normal suit cases." Mrs. Likens said. "Thanks, but its like you want us to leave" Libra said smirking while walking out the door and shutting it behind her.

(later With everything packed and ready to go)
By this time it was morning the sun was about to rise and Libra and Shadow were at the bus stop and had to catch their flight soon. "You ready?" Libra asked. Shadow looked down "Yeah..." He turned around to say good bye to his parents. "I..." Shadow started but his mom quickly hugged him "Please don't apologize, we haven't done our job of taking care of you and now we must send our son all the way to the other side of the world where danger lies." Mrs. Likens said. She let go and smiled while wiping away a tear coming from her face.

Shadow looked at his dad who had a serious face on him, Shadow didn't know what to say but his dad just hugged him "Go kick some ass ok?" Mr. Likens said patting his back. "Yeah I will" Shadow replied. Shadow backed off smiling with tears going down his face, Libra looked at him "You ready?" She said Shadow breathed in and then out "Yeah...im ready" He said with a smile on his face. The bus had arrived at the stop and Libra and Shadow picked up their bags. They turned around as waved bye, then they got on the bus and took there seat. The sun started to come over the horizon and it shined right on their eyes illuminating them. The bus took off and Libra and Shadow fell asleep instantly on each other.
