There are days when I miss you more.
Like when the air is crisp and the trees rustle in the wind.
Or when it rains and I imagine you sitting in the porch, listening intently to the soft pattering of raindrops on the roof.
So many years of you ingrained in my soul.
The way the stars looked on night drives through the mountains.
The songs the birds sang in the morning, and you laying next to me, the soft lulls of your breath, a melodic tune to my heart.
How could I stop loving you when you're all I've ever known?
