Rachel POV

     I slowly open my eyes as I feel a heavy thing on my right hand.

    "Zack-kun?" He lay his head on my right hand. his eyes fully closed and his breathing normaly. Thats mean Zack is sleeping. But, I am sure his not fully healing from his fever cause his head still feel hot.

    "You look cute when you are sleeping, dont you?" I try to drew my dull smile at the end of the sentence, but my mouth hurt. As I touch my mouth, my memory about what happend in the store room come to mind.

     I turn my face to the mirror not too far from me and there, I see my reflection. My wound has been cover by cotton. Then, I look down on my knee. It has been cover by bandage.

    "Nee, Zack-kun..." I touch his hair slowly. "Did you the one who save me and bring me here?"

    "Arigatou, Zack-kun."

    My finger cant stop dancing on his hair. It freaking soft.
   
    "Oi, Ray. Stop playing with my hair, will you?" Suddenly Zack grao my left hand made my move stop. He lift up his head and his pair of eyes look at me in my eyes. Our eyes connected.

    "A..ano..Gomenne," I try to pull back my hand from his grip but if not working. He still look at me.

    "Nani?" I ask after he staring at me about 2 or 3 minutes. It feel awkward for me.

     "Dont you have something to ask me?"

      "Um..no.."

      "Really?"

       I just nodded to answer his question.

      "As what I remember just a few minutes ago, you asked me if it true that I am the one who save you and brought you here, right?" He gave me his usual smirk.

      "Eehh...didnt you were sleeping that time?" I answer his question with another question.

      "I have a good hearing, did you forget already?"

     As he said so, I cant look at him anymore cause I feel my face heat up.

     "Of couse I am the one who save you, Baka! Who else?" Zack suddenly give a smack on my forehead make me let out a "kyaa!" sound. It hurt. I rub my forehead.

     "Oh, okay than, arigatou Zack-kun." I said. "But, will you release my hand now?"

     "I will not."

     "Eh?"

     "I have something to tell you, Ray" I can feel ge tighting his grip on my hand while his eyes not move even a little from me.

     "Listen, Ray. About our promise...."

     "Why?"

     "...I realize that until now, I cant fulfill my promise to you. G..Gomen." I seem hard for him to say 'I am sorry'.

     "If I can make it right..." I stop him by put my left palm on his mouth.

    "Its okay, Zack-kun. You always here by my side is the best thing you gave me even you not my friend. But I really appretiate your company beside me." I drew a dull smile to him. Looking at his face make me forget about my pain because of that wound.

    "Oh, thats it!" He move my hand from covering his mouth. He touch my cheak.

     "Your smile. That dull smile of yours."

     "Hm?"

     "I promise you that I will turn your dull smile into a big beautiful smile. I am sure I will give you a perfect reason to smile brightly."

    "Umm...but..Zack-kun," I am not sure if he can do it.

    "Its okay, Ray."

     "First of all," Zack interwined his hand on mine, "here, let me be your friend. Okay?" He give a big grin to me. But I just look at him with dull look I have. I pull back my hand.

     "Nani?" Zack ask me.

     "Ano, are you sure that your fever not affected your mind cause you dont seem to be yourself today, Zack-kun." I told him and suddenly he keep quiet.

    "Is it not working?"

    "Huh, what not working?"

    "You know, I try to be as kind as a guy that I watched in the movie last night. I thought you may like me more if I am being lile that...." He said honestly. I try to pull back my laught as I look at his innosent face.

    "WAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!" Suddenly we heard a voice laughing badly. I turn my face to the infirmary door and I know Zack do the same thing too. At the door, we see bespactacle guy stand there while put his hand on his belly and laughing so bad. Who is he? Of couse it Danny. I am sure he has a good time moking Zack.

     "Since when did you start being so jelly, Zack?" Danny ask sarcasticly. I look at Zack and his face looked stern.

    "You...since when did you stand there, freak?!"

    "Long enough to here the whole thing that you saud to Rachel-chan," then, Danny start laughimg again.

     "Tch...what your deal, Freak!"

      TOK TOK
The knocking at the door, caugh our attention. Danny automaticly stop laughing. There, not really far from us, standing a blonde hair girl .

    "Cathy...?" Thats all words I can said as my eyes land on her face. She look at me straight into my eyes.

    Is she here to take Zack? Oh, believe me, I will not give him to you easily. He not a stuff that anybody can own. I reached for Zack hand and hold it tight. He reply by hold mine too.

    "Oh, you finally come, Cathy." Danny said cheerfully.

    "Danny-san... What is all this?" I asked Danny. He just look at me with a smile.

    "You will know soon."
