"HAPPY NEW YEAR" Everyone yelled as the room filled with laughter and happiness.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR SISI" My best friend, Charlotte, said to me as she pulled me into a hug.
"Happy new year, Char" I hugged back.
"May god bless your soul this year babe" she told me and we both started laughing. She then went to go find Junior, her boyfriend, and she disappeared into the crowd.
"Happy new year! We lasted a year dealing with all these snakes, phew" said a voice from behind, which was my other best friends, Gabe.
"Happy new year Gabe" I said as I pulled him into a hug.
"Where were you all night, I didn't find you anywhere, all I saw was Charlotte dancing with her man, while i was in the corner being single as ever" Gabe said and pretend to make a tear roll down his face with his pointer finger. I laughed at his statement.
"Honestly, relatable, sadly. I was crazy busy, I walked around offering people drinks,chips, and all those other things, but it was fun" I said as I reached over to the table behind me and grabbed a potato chip from the bowl.
"Well you need a break, and lets start off this new year by having some fun!" He said as he grabbed me from my arm and pulled me into the dance floor, which was just the middle of my living room.
We let the music control out body and voice.
"AND I WAS LIKE BABY, BABY, BABY OHHH" We all sang. Bringing back 2010 baby!
We spend the next two hours dancing, eating, talking, and some more eating. We then decided to go to my room and have our mini party there, since it was really crowded. Charlotte, Junior, Gabe, Jessica, Alex, Mateo, and I all went upstairs. I locked the door behind us and plopped on my bed.
"Soo, what do you guys want to do?" I asked as I pulled my phone out of my purse.
"Ooh, lets take some photos, my instagram is mad boring" Jessica said as she got up
"Same, lets go" everyone agreed.
We made our way back downstairs, took a few photos, which turned out amazing, and wen back upstairs. I brought a few snacks with us so we didn't have to go back down to get things.
"These heels are killing me" I said as i took off my shoes and put in my crocs.
"Girl problems" Mateo said as he grabbed the bag of Takis.
"Oh shut up, like you guys don't have problems" i snapped back.
"Like what problems" Alex said as he took some chips from Mateo and he slapped his arm.
"Um, guys can literally get boners anywhere, like at fricking church" I said and they started laughing.
"Bro, i chocked on my lemonade " Jessica said as she wiped her mouth.
"You chocked on my dick" Alex said
"WHAT THE FISHING STRIPS ALEX, WERE THE CHILDREN OF JESUS HERE YOU NON HOLY CHILD" I yelled to him and slipped off my crocs and threw it at him.
I wasn't aiming for his eye, but it hit it anyways.
