Tell Me

So much confusion comes from silence of the tongue.

It happens when old,
As well as when young.

You think it one way and maybe I, another.
But I do hope we think of each other.

I'd like to know what's on your mind,
And what's in your heart, I hope to find.

For you, my dear, I have to ask;
Clear my mind and soul at last?

Tell me your thoughts,
Tell me your desires,
And your interest in me, I must inquire.

Is there spark?
Is there light?
Tell me, for you, do I delight?

Attracted to my flesh,
But what about my soul?
So many questions and answers untold.

So much more I wish to know.
Darling, if you yearn for me...
Tell me so.
