chapter 6

Marinette 

I was in Adrien's lap still I was planning on getting help and telling him 

"well when I was 10 my so-called parents abused me when I didn't get an A or didn't finish the job or did something wrong they would beat me so I studied to be a surgeon I had everything to become one but I was only 14 when that happens I then found out my parents were my kidnappers they are the leaders of the Chang gang I put them behind bars but I didn't know I was doing work for them I thought I did the right thing when I asked to be put in a police training camp I train for 2 years at 17 went to the army for a 2 year then train others then I became a surgeon for a year and when I met your mom, she took me to Pairs and now I am here they are attacking people I don't know in the same family, what did they do to have this" I said sobbing in to his chest he wrapped his arms around me 

" I am so sorry about what happen to you," he said he kissed my forehead 

" I am afraid to be home I don't want to be in the hospital," I said hugging him he nodded 

"I will be back I am going to talk to my mom," he got up and left I sat on the bed holding my knees to my chest

Adrien

I walk out of the hospital room and to my mom, she was at the computer "can you look up Marinette Winter" I asked she nodded and did 

"she changes her name but I can tell you what injuries she had"

 "okay go for it"

 "well there is a sprained wrist a 2 broken rib a broken hand 4 fingers shoulder a broken ankle foot and she broke her knee cap she also had to have stitches in her head  3 times and she almost lost her life when her parents found her in her room beaten up bad she had blood loss and a broken wrist" she explained 

"when can Marinette go home?" I asked 

" We were wanting to keep her overnight but she doesn't have to stay," 

"I don't think that's a good idea she is uneasy," I said when we heard arguing me and my mom walk to Marinette room  

"Marinette we need to take some blood from you," Marin said 

"no I don't want you here I want Adrien," she said getting as far away from him as she could I walk over to here

 "Mari I right here," I said as she leads into me I sat on the side of the bed 

" I want to go home" she cried I looked at my mom she nodded 

"okay you're dressed so Adrien you can take here home you just need the papers," she said 

the next month

I woke up, the past month I have moved in to  Marinette apartment and we started to date but no one needs to know that, I look to my side to see her still sleeping I got up and went to the bathroom and change into my uniform it was still early but who cares I put my gun into my case and walk back to the room to see Marinette getting up

 "morning" 

"morning why up so early" her face hit the pillow

 "because that's how I am" 

"no its too early" she groaned

 "well we need to get to work soon and you take forever to get up so, go get ready I will make breakfast," I said as she smiles at me 

Marinette 

I got out of bed and put on my uniform and made the bed I tie my hair into a high ponytail and went down to see Adrien made breakfast I gave him a kiss and we eat I was going over what I was doing today I ground this weekend the girls were going to come over and have a sleepover and they were going to go to the spa and dye half of my hair light blue like when I was in army and police training camp Gabriel got old pictures of me and my team doing training,

I was walking down the hall with Adrien he was explaining what his day was going to be like "so what do you have?" I asked 

"I got patrol with Plagg our team got to do patrol all week I think your team is next" he grins and I laugh I gave him a kiss and left to my office work area to see all the girls 

"Mari what took you so long to get here they won't listen to me" Alya complained

 "girl get to work we got patrol next week and won't be able to do all the paperwork for next week," I said 

"Yeah, why did you take long your always early or were you with Adrien?" Alex said 

"Alex you know me better I only talk to him about work," I said as I sat down at my desk and started my share of the paperwork

5 hours later 

we were on lunch break we were by my apartment in a cafe when my radio went off because I don't turn it off when I am off duty 

"This is 123" Adrien's voice came 

"go ahead 123" dispatch said 

"Plagg and I were stopping a van with 5 men we were waiting for back up when one jumped Plagg we can't hold them off they are coming after me next we are Royal Rose apartment we need back up now I repeat we-" the radio went dead I got up and ran out  got in my car and drove grabbing my radio 

"this is 167 I am right next to the place I am right now they are driving off with Adrien and Plagg in the trunk of the van I am going after them its a high sped chance" I said as I put down the radio 

"copy" then I saw the girls cars right behind me we were 20 minutes in and they still won't stop or slow down I was worried
