The bottom of the ocean. It was dark. And painful. Restraining her is so difficult. So painful. I just wanna die.

Lapis jolted up clutching the blanket. Her heart raced and she breathed heavily. Peridot stirred next to her. She opened her eyes slightly and said groggily, "Are you ok Lapis."

"Yeah, I'm fine," Lapis swallowed the lump in her throat, "Just a nightmare, don't worry."

Peridot sighed and sat up, "Jasper?"

Lapis nodded. Peridot put her hand under Lapis' chin and turned her head towards her. "Look at me Lapis. She can't hurt you anymore."

Lapis nodded, "Yeah. Your right. It's just the memories they hurt. Peri. I love you, more than anything. "

"I love you too Lapis," Peridot said giving her a soft kiss. She layed back down, "can we go back to sleep now, its the middle of the night." She rolled over, her back to Lapis.

Lapis lied down and snuggle up to Peridot. "I love you so much," Lapis planted a kiss on Peridot's back.

Peridot pulled away and rolled over to face her. She held Lapis' hand in hers. She didn't say anything just smiled softly and touched her forehead to Lapis'. "Goodnight Lapis."
