Emperors POV

I was taking pictures with fans and the sky started to get quite dark "One more picture, who's going to be the luck one today?" I said and smirked at the crowd hearing everyone screaming "Me me me!" As my eyes were scanning over the crowd I seen a very pretty inkling/octoling with E/C eyes and beautiful glossy T/C tentacles also wanting a picture. I slowly walked over to them making my way through the crowd as my fans looked over at me. "Hello beautiful, would you like a picture?" I flirted with them, smirking and putting their tentacle behind their face as their face goes a tint of red. "Y-yes, I would" they say and take out their phone and open up the camera and gave me their phone to take a picture.
I smirked for the picture and they put up the peace sign and smiled as I took the picture. They looked beautiful in the picture as I gave the phone back to them. They said thank you but as they were about to leave, I secretly slipped my number in their pocket and then left.

Y/N POV

As I was walking home from taking a picture with Emperor, I went on Instagram to post my picture with Emperor and when I was done, I put my phone back in my sweater pocket and walked home.
I unlocked the door and walked in my boring, empty house and shut the door behind me and I walked onto my balcony. I rested my arms on the railing and enjoyed the cool night breeze, watching the sparkling ocean in front of me. I took a deep breath and thought about what happened earlier and blushed a little bit. "He called me beautiful... but doesn't he call everyone that?" I sighed and put my hands in my pocket, but felt something. A piece of... paper? I took it out and I saw a phone number with a winky face below it... what even?... I guess I'll text this person to see who this is

Y/N- Umm... hello? Who is this? I found a phone number in my pocket and it's yours, whoever you are

???- Ah, hello! May you be the fan I met earlier? If so, I am Emperor!

Y/N- What?! Emperor? You must be joking!

???- Don't believe me? I don't blame you, prince/princess, but if you want to know the truth, meet me at Inkopolis Café tomorrow at 4:00 and you'll see

Y/N- Alright... umm if you're going to murder me then whatever

I'm pretty skeptical of this person, but if it truly is Emperor... I'd honestly love that...

Next Day...

I woke up very tiredly and the sun immediately blared in my eyes and I squinted my eyes. I yawned and slowly got out of bed and checked the time... 1:00pm? Really? I need a good sleeping schedule...
I changed into my gear and then remembered... I have to meet Emperor today! Ah shoot... if it's really Emperor, then I need to change into my sun dress. I put it on and I twirled in front of the mirror... not gonna lie, I look cute! I decided to style my hair cute and grabbed my phone, ate some breakfast and waited on the couch for time to pass

Time skip to 3:40

I should probably leave the house now so I'm not to late
I got my sunglasses and left the house to Inkopolis Square
I walked to the café and looked at my phone, 4:00pm. Right on time
I walked in and boy was it busy! I walked around to a booth but before I sat down, I got a tap on my shoulder. As I turned around, I saw Emperor in all his glory. He was wearing a tuxedo and tight black pants. He looked so hot... I blushed like crazy and I couldn't say a word
"Hey beautiful, stunned by my hotness?" He said and chuckled
"I... um... I didn't expect you to actually be... Emperor... I thought you would be some creepy murderer or something" I said and had a confused look on my face
"I told you I wasn't lying, love. Now, come here we should sit at this booth" he said and grabbed my hand gently to lead me to a booth
"I reserved this booth for the two of us, gotta make some good impressions" he said and I laughed a little bit and when I did he looked at me
"Your laugh is beautiful" he said and blushed the tiniest bit, but of course I could still see it
"You're blushiiing" I said and smirked as I saw him lower his face a little bit, he was flustered and it was so cute!
"Lets just sit, shall we?" He said and I sat down
"So, I never got your name, what is it?" He asked politely
"Y/N" I responded, wondering what he would respond with
"Y/N... that's a beautiful name" he said and genuinely smiled at me... I've never seen him smile, only smirk. All I can say is his smile is adorable!
"T-thanks" I said and tucked a tentacle behind my ear
"Hello! What would you like to drink?" The waiter came around and asked us, kinda ruining the moment
"Just coffee, that's it" I said
"For me, some tea" Emperor said and put the drink menu down
"Is that all?" The waiter asked and looked at the two of us
"Yes" we both said and the waiter walked away
"After this, would you like to come with me to the meadows?" Emperor asked me
"Uhh... I don't know what the meadows are, but sure!" I kindly accepted and smiled a little
"You don't know the meadows? Oh prince/princess you'll love it" he said and smiled at me and I blushed

Time skip

Emperor left the bill on the table and we left the café and of course Emperor being famous, we ran away from his fans. Once we finally escaped, we made it to the meadows
"Here we are, prince/princess" he said and looked at the beautiful night sky.
"Emperor... this is... amazing" I said blown away by the starry night sky, fireflies, and the flowers. Everything here seemed like it was from a fairytale of some sort
"I thought you'd like it" he said before taking my hands and looking into my bright E/C eyes. At that moment, it felt like the world was in slow motion. Was this about to happen?
"You know, ever since I laid my eyes on you in the crowd, I knew you were meant for me"
"Y-yes?" I said, nervous as ever
"We should go on a second date, do you want to?" He asked, blushing

"Its ok if no-" he said before I interrupted him
"Yes! Also, why are you so cheesy? Jeez, just ask!" I said and laughed a little before kissing his soft, pink lips. The kiss lasted for 10 seconds before we had to break for air
"This night was fun"
"Yeah, it was!"
