Gaby flied over the filler  fence and cantered to the orange water jump ,Hunter cleared it with ease ,  half halting, she steadied her forward warmblood , the soft fluffy sand flying around her, one two three go ! She counted his long stride,holding her breath she folded quickly as he's hind quarters lifted beneath her .they soured over the orange Ozer  - there wasn't a sound of clipping the pole- she had gone clear !
after a 15 m circle she brought him down into a walk and let his reins slip through her brown leather gloves , giving him a well earned pat while she whispered in his forward- facing ears

a wide smile appeared on her face that was beaming with pride ; she looked for Zoe but a huge wave of disappointment when she realised Zoe wasn't there anymore to put her thumbs up , to make her laugh , to watch movies to 3am with . She was gone

Gaby pov

" good time ,Gaby - no faults again Gaby - well done gaby , remember leg long tho, that's why you lost the stirrup however you got them back so I'm gonna look past that and focus on the tensing , remember to breathe going over that combo ! fastest time tho , that puts you at the top of our leader board .well done" said our instructor scribbling something on a clipboard with a happy nod : let's talk about mrs bloom , she isnt our real instructor sadly - we don't have one yet .. but , she is great. she won the badminton horse trials under 18 on a knackers retired race horse , storm I believe he was called . I have seen the grey flea bitten thoroughbred ; she keeps pictures in her purse , phone case , desk , car and almost everywhere  however she is rather mysterious and that all she will tell us!!

Mrs bloom is kind and she understands you all the time .tho she can be hard on u , it's only because she knows we can be pushed .
Mrs bloom had a unhorsey life as a child and she hadn't been riding long , but once she cleared a small wall jump on a lazy school mule , she had realised she didn't want to do anything else but compete

" Zoe , Raven- off u go "commanded Mrs , who walked to the centre of the ring
Zoe squeezed Raven into a collective canter and headed at speed to the jumps . She knocked  poles from the combination and Raven spooked at the plants at the side of the vertical,and refused a water jump that unseated Zoe - in all ,she had 16 faults
" go again "called our instructor , crossing her arms .

on her second attempt ,Raven and Zoe went clear and the fastest round

In all I came 3rd - a very bad place for there was only ,pin ,Zoe and me ! At least I didn't have to take two goes !!
" tough luck - u will get it , you r still new "called Zoe who was untacking Raven is the stable next to me 
" yeah , Zoe is right " this was pin ,calling from the stable across from us " but no one beats my elvis ! "

They both chuckled, I rolled my eyes " hey , you know Raven IS the best right "Zoe said probably smiling but she sounded serious
Pin was leaning over our stable doors , handing us both magic brushes
" yeah right ,  zo !" me and pin told her at the same time laughing mischievously
Pin leant over Zoe's stable door and gave her a quick peck on the cheek that was returned by Zoe who gave him a kiss on the lips
I cringed instantly- "ewwww seriously-  get . A . Room !!! " I told them with a smirk of disgust as I quickly shut my Dutch stable door
