THIS IS REMINGTON, A GODDAMN BEAUTIFUL MAN FROM PALAYE ROYALE.

JISUNG:

I get dressed quickly. It's the first time I've ever been excited on a Sunday morning, but Minho's coming to pick me up. He said he has news for me, but wants to say it in person.

So I pack my bookbag, making sure to bring pens and notebooks. Dad comes upstairs and tells me that a car is here for me. I nod, and he smiles, before going to get ready for his day shift at the bar. Mom is already gone to work, after being called in on an emergency. Head-on collision, three cars in that, in the middle of an intersection. Cars aroud them had to swerve to avoid it, and that caused two T-bone accidents, one bumper to bumper accident, and a side-swipe. Also, Mom getting paid overtime.

I skip down the stairs, and out to Minho's car. The door is open for me, and I quickly settle in the seat.

"Hi!" Minho greets me, backing up. I wave and smile. Then he stops so I can show him what I wrote about the accident, and him being careful. Several cars are passing by, and he nods. "I know about it, someone hired my dad as their lawyer already. Lots of people are suing the lights operating company. Three of four lights were green, and one was yellow. Eleven cars were involved, and twenty-one people involved. The main collision was the worst. I heard Dad telling Sooah about it this morning as he was getting ready to go study the case, and talk to the people hiring him. Is your mom on the case?"

I nod, and write "head nurse" down, before we start driving again, Jihyun leaving the house and speeding off just after us. I shake my head in shock. The traffic lights here have always been bad, but I've never seen anything like this. Mom usually has car-accident patients, but never twenty-one at a time. The most is up to seven, I think.

We go on for a while, me enjoying the IU songs playing softly through the speakers. We can't communicate while he drives, because him reading what I write might distract him from the road.

We pull into the Drive-Thru of a resteraunt, and I scrawl my order down. I pull out my wallet in an attempt to pay, but he shows a gift-card with more then enough to pay for us.

I nod, and relax in the soft leather seats, admiring the seat and steering wheel covers. Day6 themed.

He gets the food, in tall brown paper bags, and drives to a pretty lookout spot, where you can see the whole town, and several trains just off to the side. We can see the crash site, complete with yellow police tape, and reporters hanging around like flies to a piece of shit.

That's awful.

I wonder if anyone died?

Well, you'll see on the news later.

"So," Minho begins, "I told you about my parents splitting, and that's official. They were only together because they thought we needed them, but me and Mina are pretty independant, and we always have been. Dad got a call from Mom's lawyer, stating that there's a set date for signing the divorce papers, and Mina's staying with Dad for the two years until she graduates. Dad's girlfriend, who he's been with for two months behind Mom's back, will be staying and moving in.
Also, about the house you said Jimin would let you have..." I nod, What about it?  "Well, could I just move in with you completely? Dad and Sooah are going to need the room." I nod, then make a gesture of, Why? "Well.... Um... Sooah's a month and a half pregnant, and we have no spare rooms, oddly enough."

I stare in shock, and scribble "REALLY?" down.

"Yeah. She found out on Thursday, and her and Dad had planned to tell Mom the night they broke up. Mom got a little... Fiesty before anyone could say anything, so they never got the chance to tell her."

Wow, that sounds scary.

On my already over-used paper, I jot down, 'OF COURSE YOU CAN LIVE WITH ME! I MIGHT GET LONELY!'

He smiles, "Thank you." And we finish our food in comfortable silence.

When finished, I lean on Minho's shoulder, and soon I'm having peaceful dreams about living with Minho.
