I'm sorry.
I picked out the perfect puppy,
The one that made me the happiest.
So delicate and pure, how sweet and gentle.
We where a match, the two of us.
Like peas and carrots.
My puppy made me smile, and was there to comfort me. She made laugh and worried.
I care about her.
I checked on her to make sure she was well fed and bathed, watched her grow up. Blossom.
Today was normal, I thought, today was okay.
It was early and I was frustrated. I rushed out the door, careless and blank
Encourage by my bitterness I forgot to close the gate on my way out.
I rushed to my destination as if it was all I cared about.
But soon I realize what I had done.
So blinded by envy, so controlled by rush.
I'm sorry. I realized what I have done.
I rushed back home only to find an empty house.
She was gone.
If only I had thought twice, if only.
I put up posters, I called everyone I knew,
An apology to what I've done.
If only I realize what I had done.
Please, Come home.
