  "What's with your face?"

"Oh no she didn't."

It's been a year Beck

It's been a year Beck. A year since you left me feeling more heartbroken then ever. At this point I'm honestly certain that I might not ever find actual true love again.

I don't think I ever want to go through that again... the feeling of someone taking a piece of you away and ripping it to pieces.

Despite all that, I ensured the book was a success and even now I continue to have it displayed as one of "Mooney's Recommended"

You see Beck? That's what love is. No matter how much you hurt me I still want you to succeed. Something you could never understand with how selfish you were.

I shake my head as I continue to shelve books when Ethan's voice of "Hey you!" Catches my ears. He had been dating Blythe ever since they had been introduced to each other and were now even living together. That type of glee in his voice was something only brought out by the sight of me, or of her.

Hence why I looked up and was surprised to see it wasn't Blythe.

All I could see without being blocked by the bookshelves was the back of a woman's head. A woman with black hair.

Turns out Ethan has more friends then I would have thought him to.

"Surprised that he does?" Becks voice caught my attention making me turn around to see her sitting next to the windowsill her golden hair in a messy bun as she crossed her legs revealing smooth porcelain skin. The same porcelains skin that my hands would glide over. "Or are you just jealous?"

Get out of my head Beck. Haven't you done enough?

"Joe, do you think I can do a lunch break? I'm actually starving." Ethan asked me grabbing my attention. His eyes twinkled and you could tell that the couples life was for him. He was happier, the bags under his eyes were gone and he seemed to be losing a bit of weight.

Looks like he finally had that support system to help him stick to his diet. "Yeah, no problem. Take your time." I nodded. There wasn't a lot of people inside Mooney's so needless to say I didn't think there'd be much of a rush.

"Ummm. There's a girl here. She doesn't buy books... she rents out books like we're a library. Maybe you can actually talk her into buying a book this time? She's got black hair and brown eyes and tan skin." He spoke. His eyes were flickering to anywhere but my face showing that this had been going on for a long time. This wasn't so much fear of losing a job as it was guilt. Suddenly it seemed as though the emotions were too much for him to hear and he bursted with how long this had been going on and how he honestly tried to stop it but-

"Yeah. Don't worry about it. Who is it?" I interrupted waved my hand stopping his fountain of apologies and explanations. He then smiled and walked over to a woman squatting tapping her shoulder watching her move as though into an attack position her white teeth bared in a snarl Ethan jumping back in surprise shouting his apologies to her as she then calmed down giving Ethan a beaming smile that honestly could draw anyone in.
