Below the dark midnight sky.
Starting at the blazing light, burning and crackling.
She sits alone with flames that fly.

She hears the crickets playing their songs.
And the nightowls chattering.
She hears the flames talking through every crackle

She was mesmerized by the fire.
As she stared a crack flew through the woods
White eyes stared like eyes of a lier

The trees looked like bars of a prison.
The large creature shook the top of the trees.
It looked like it had just arisen.

She looked up their eyes meeting.
The fire scared the creatures she assumed
She wasn't scared her heart didn't even stop beating

She put out the fire with her shadow.
The creature walked through the bars large and scary.
She realized that it's eyes weren't lively they were hollow

It was like a giant but with white eyes.
She held a hand out slowly not scared or trembling.
It sniffed her hand and growled thinking it held lies

It's growl was like thunder running under her.
She put her hand to its chest scaring the large creature.
It was scared yet calm with her hand there.

It was an unknown friend ship of the two.
She looked at the ashes that was left by the glooming hot fire.
It was now a memory of something that left too soon.
