Knox Vienna Morris is so much more than the personal assistant of recently deceased Sir Reginald Hargreeves. She is strong, smart, secretive. And she's one of seven tasked with saving the world from a burning, fiery end.
But her story doesn't start there. No, even though that would make complete sense — starting the story at the beginning of the end of the world — Knox Vienna Morris has many things on her to-do list before 'STOP THE APOCALYPSE' makes an appearance. First, she must divide the fortune and assets of the Hargreeves estate, then she must have the five living Hargreeves children accept this fortune.
It may seem easy, having five thirty year olds accept five hundred million dollars and one portion of the Hargreeves billion-dollar industry, but one thing Knox Vienna Morris is about to learn, is that the Hargreeves heirs are much more difficult than the average young adult. They are cunning, aggravating, and elitist in their own special ways.
Which makes Knox's job approximately ten times harder than it should be.
And all of that is before one of the Hargreeves children — the one that's been missing for over fourteen years — decides to make an entrance, informing everyone that the world is ending and they are the only ones able to stop it.
That's where the job gets really difficult.
