IMAGINARY FRIEND • Lee Know

Dahyun's POV

"Lee Know! Let's play hide and seek" I said as I face an empty room.

"There she goes again" mother talks to daddy. She's not fond of me getting close with him.

"Let her be, this is her last time playing with her friend" daddy reassured mother to keep her calm.

"OK, you're it. I'll go hide now" he runs off, trying to find a place to hide.

"Our things is already set. Go get Dahyun" Daddy said.

But before I could find him,my mother caught me and locked me up in our car.

I could see him running to me but the car's too fast and soon, we were far away from that place.

[ 10 years later ]

"Dahyun~ah, your family owns a house near the woods,right?" Nayeon asked.

It's  end of our SAT's so we're planning on going somewhere we can relax after the stressing exams.

"Yeah, but I think that house wasn't taken care of since we left. We need to clean it first." I answered.

"I'm fine with cleaning, as long as I'm with you guys, and I could use some break from schoolworks" Jackson seconded.

"All in favor of cleaning?" Mina asked and before we could even raise our hands she cut us off. "Well then, let's go pack our clothes."

"Oh and...my parent doesn't want me to go there again,so let's keep it a secret" I added.

"Why? Did you have any problems when you were living there?" Jihyo asked, making everyone wonder.

"They didn't tell me anything and I can hardly remember what happened in my past."

"Let's just hope we're not getting into some trouble again like what we had last time" Jisung blurts.

"We'll keep it a secret, so we better gather our things now coz it's a long trip"

Chan runs home excitedly and the others followed.

We got in our house that looks haunted. It looks pretty scary plus it was the only house in the woods.

We started off with finding rooms and then cleaning.

I was sweeping the floor, Mina and Chaeyoung was wiping tables, the men took care of the broken chairs and the others were preparing for dinner.

The house was pretty wide.

As Mina wipes the cabinet in every hallway, she saw a picture of me with my grandparents, and a book with 'my diary' on its front page.

She read some of it but got scared after and didn't finish it.

Mina was silent the whole night so we got suspicious. Momo asked Mina if she was alright but she didn't say anything, instead she showed us the book.

With my friends being all coward, I opened the book and started reading it out loud. As I read the content of the book that sent me shivers, I feel as if someone was watching me.

"You finally came" a voice startled all of us. The voice came from a guy in the dark.

His voice was kind of familiar. Maybe I was friends with him before?I'm not sure, I can't even remember this house that much.

The guy walked forward, revealing himself.

"You brought more friends to play with us. You're really kind" he smiled creepily.

Everyone of us is hella scared and really confused right now.

"Dahyun, who the hell is this guy? He's creepy" Changbin looked freaked out.

"I don't know him" I replied

His smile suddenly fade as soon as he heard what I said.

"You don't know me? C'mon Dahyun, we used to play every time until you left me here" the guy said with a scary face.

"I really don't remember you, even this house and my memories in here"

"You can't remember anything? Even the promise you made?" He asked, making me curious.

"What promise?"

"To stay by my side....but you broke your promise,you still left me" he seems sad and mad.

"Look, I'm sorry for what I've done--"

"Sorry doesn't make things better" he cuts me off while sternly looking at me.

"What the hell do you want?!" Sana yelled, frantically hiding behind Mark's back.

"Dahyun....I want Dahyun" he grinned as our eyes meet.

"Why do you want me?" I asked, feeling nervous and scared.

"I want you to stay with me forever" he gives off that scary vibe to everyone in the house.

"I don't need you all here. Leave me and Dahyun alone if you want to live." Lee know threatened, sending death glare to everyone.

I gulped, anxious takes over me. Everyone values their lives so they left me alone with a ghost.

"Good, it's just the two of us" he smiles sweetly but not genuine.

"Why are you doing this to me?" My voice cracked, backing off with the creepy guy.

He walks forward to catch up on me. He touched my face as sniffs me.

"Still smell sweet. It really suits you." He grin and laughed wickedly.

He leaned his face near mine, trying to kiss me while I'm unable to move.

He succeeds.

"Now you're all mine." He said, pulling me into a dark room full of spirits unable  to rest in peace, seeking vengeance.

His face distorts as he go inside the room and my body slowly began to shut down.

But then a loud noise woke me from a horrible nightmare.

It was just a dream....thank god

I went downstairs to check on my friends and it was all normal. Nothing out of this world.

Sana greeted me and we ate breakfast together. I forgot to take my phone with me so I went up to my room to find my phone, but instead, I found  something else.

"Lee Know?"  he smiled at me.

It wasn't a dream after all.
