I stood at the end of Richelle's Street, as always.
She walked past me, chatting animatedly, with Gabi.
That's weird, we always walked together.
Abi drove past, in her dad's car. "Want a ride?"
I nodded.
I jumped I'm and peered at Richelle and Gabi.
Gabi looked disgusted and Richelle just looked at the ground.
At TNS, Richelle continued ignoring me.
Miss Kate asked us to get into pairs.
I immediately wandered over to Richelle and was, surprised, and a little hurt, to see she had partnered Josh.
"Alright, Noah?" she smiled, sweetly.
"But we're always partners," I whined, feeling my face fall.
"Sorry," Richelle said, turning away from me.
What's going on?
Is it about yesterday?
I didn't mean to upset her, I was just a bit mad she was practising the duet, OUR duet, with someone else.
