More Than Less

I've been told to be more I must be less noisy,
Voicing my opinions is wrong but staying silent is too,
I've been told to be more I must be less dramatic,
Sharing emotions is asking for attention and pathetic,
I've been told to be more I must be less ugly,
Wearing sweatpants and hoodie everyday isn't cute and that's the point of clothes,
I've been told to be more I must be less oblivious,
If I don't know everything I'm either an airhead or don't care about anything but myself,
I've been told to be more I must have the same sense of humor as everyone else,
Everything must be sarcastic or have a double meaning,
I've been told to be more I must have less free time,
If I'm not at least double booked every day I'm being lazy.

But I am loud,
I am an emotional wreck,
I like to feel comfortable,
I don't know everything,
I like cheesy jokes and dad humor,
I don't enjoy being swamped.

And I am exactly who I was born to be,
There is no one who can do me better than me.
