"I should build a house." Steve thought to himself. He drew a diagram on the ground. His house would be a small house like a hunting lodge. He went out to collect more wood. Once he collected 64 wood blocks he went and crafted 64 and 64 and 64 planks. He built his small lodge which would keep him safe for the first night. He placed a bed and went to sleep in his new house. That's when the spiders attacked.
