Locate Target

You enter the apartment building casually, your gun concealed inside your leather jacket. People didn't even glance at you as you made your way up to floor two. Not being noticed was a skill you had learned early on in this job, along with many others.

Entering an empty hallway, you checked the piece of paper in your pocket again. Room 21B. You had done extensive research this morning to find out this man's location, and thankfully you had remembered to write it down.

You were planning things in your head as you went along. You knew you'd have to convince him to allow you inside his apartment in case there were cameras in the hallways. This was a crime, after all. No need to add breaking and entering into the mix.

And then there you were, at room 21B. After straightening your jacket, you knocked on the door. Let the mission commence.

It was just moments before the door swung open to reveal a bright and spritely young man, who looked barely older than you. He had to be Jungkook's grandchild or something, this was going to be more complicated than you thought.

"Hello, is Jeon Jungkook here?"

"That's me! You must be here to ask about the empty room, come in!"

No. Freaking. Way.
This was a kid. You couldn't just kill a kid. You were usually hired to take out old men, mob bosses and such. People who had hurt other people. He's hardly older than you, how could you hold a gun up to him and pull the trigger? Well, now you'd need to if you didn't want the Brass Violet's gang going after you.

Rather than just stare at him in shock, you managed to make yourself follow him inside.

"What's your name?" He asked as you looked around. The place was nice, it had an exposed brick wall in the living room and dark wooden floors.

"I'm Mun (Y/N)." You didn't lie, it was your legal name and still the one you used outside of work.

"Well it's nice to meet you, (Y/N)." He smiled at you happily, and you couldn't help but notice his large and innocent eyes. They were dark and stunning, captivating you completely. You knew better than to judge someone by their appearance, but his would certainly make your job harder.

You decided in that moment, that you're going to try and figure him out first. You're going to discover what makes him tick and why someone would want to target him. You have a month after all, surely you can do it in that time.

In this business, you never ask questions. You just get the job done and get paid. But something was so off about this that you couldn't help but break that rule.

"So what do you think?" He asked, gesturing around.

"I really like the place," you said, "Do you mind if I step outside to make a call?"

How do you like it so far?
I'm really excited to be writing it.
It's very different from any of my other stories so I think it'll be super fun.
Anyways, I'm going to bed soon so goodnight!
