Yeji looked at the clock as she was preparing her stuff to go. "I am late to Ryujin's soccer practice!", Yeji thought. She shoved all of her belongings in her backpack and proceeded to the door.
As she opened it, she accidentally bumped Ryujin's head on the door. "I'm sorry!", she said and without looking at the person she bumped, she ran out to the soccer field.
"Yuna! I'm here! Where's Ryujin?", Yeji sat beside Yuna on the benches while scanning the soccer field for her long time crush, Ryujin.
"She went back to the classroom to get her shoes. Aren't you there? Did you ran to her by any chance?", Yuna replied.
Yeji immediately thought about bumping someone's head on the door. "Is it Ryujin by any chance?", Yeji thought as she left Yuna cheering for Lia, Yuna's girlfriend.
As she was running at the hallways, she bumped against Ryujin and both sprang backwards and fell to the ground.
"Why do you keep on running on to me?", complained Ryujin.
"I'm sorry! I- didn't mean to.", Yeji said.
"You better be. Stupid nerd", Ryujin stood up and started to run away to the field.

"Where did you go? Ryujin came back like 10 minutes ago. She's been dominating the whole game!", Yuna said as Yeji came back and sat on the benches.
"What's wrong? Did you cry? Your eyes look puffy", Yuna asked with worry.
"I think Ryujin hates me."
"What do you mean?"
"She called me a stupid nerd..."
"What! Why did she call you that?"
"Because, I accidentally bumped her head on the door and then, I bumped into her again.", Yeji then covered her face with her hands and Yuna tapped her back for comfort.
Ryujin P.O.V
"Chaeryeong!", I shouted as I passed the ball to her. She then passed it to Lia who passed it to me. I focused on the right side of the goalie since I knew, it was the goalkeeper's weakness. I kicked the ball as hard as I could that it flew very fast and made the goal.
"Goal!", I shouted. "We won!", I shouted and hugged my teammates. I looked over to Lia but, she seems off.
"Lia, you don't look happy as usual. What's on your mind?", I asked Lia as I noticed she kept on looking at the benches.
"My girlfriend's friend looks sad, should we go over to them?", Lia said as she looked at me with a worried face.
"Sure...". I followed Lia as I was taking out my phone to take a picture of a scoreboard. "9 - 2! They're so weak!", I thought. Suddenly, someone slapped my phone to the ground and that person slapped me too.
"Yuna! What are you doing?!?", Lia hugged Yuna from the back as she tried to stop her from hitting me.
"Well, your friend called my friend a stupid nerd!", Yuna shouted. I froze when I saw the girl I shouted at earlier crying behind Yuna.
"Ryujin, is that true?", Lia asked me. I don't know what to say. I just stood there afraid that my reputation is going to be ruined.
"It is true...", I looked at the ground and clenched my fists.
"Apologize to her, and clear things up.", Lia told me as she and Yuna left the two of us standing in an awkward silence.
I looked at the girl I shouted at earlier and moved closer to her. I then touched her shoulders gently that caused her to flinch.
"Hey, I'm sorry I called you that earlier. What's your name?", I asked with a sincere smile on my face.
"I'm H-hwa-ng Y-eji", she said nervously which I thought was pretty cute.
"Again, I'm sorry. I might have offended you. I'm really sorry!"
"It's okay. It's true anyway", I looked at her and I felt more angry at myself.
"That's not true! I just thought you were messing with me so I called you that", I held her face with my two hands and looked at her straight in the eyes.
"I was just being blind earlier. You are an amazing person!", I told her.
Yeji P.O.V
"I was just being blind earlier. You are an amazing person!", Ryujin told me as our faces are like only 6 inches apart. I can't believe she just complimented me.
"I forgive you!" I shouted and hid my blushing face.
"I was being careless too, so I think we're just even", I told her as I was slowly finding a way to escape.
"Really? Thanks..."
There's a probability of 0% to stop loving Ryujin. Even though she called me stupid and a nerd, I think it is a blessing. I want to be more closer to her. I should probably take the lead since I'm older? Right?
"Then, if you wouldn't mind, can I take you out for a drink?", I asked while fiddling with my finger.
"You're asking me out?", she asked me with a small laugh.
"Kind of... and I want to be friends with you since your cute- I mean cool."
"Where do you want to go? What do you mostly do?", she asked me. Is this real? I hope I am not dreaming.
"I like going to the arcade"
"Let's go there then", Ryujin then reached out her hand to me. I looked at it and I don't know what to do.
"Aren't you going to take it?", she asked me.
"Um, yes-no, y-yes-Well? No? Maybe? I don't know?", I really want to hold them.
"It must be weird to hold a stranger's hand isn't it." She then slowly took back her hand but, my gay hands just held them.
"I will hold them", I said as I intertwined my fingers with hers. I know there's no point in holding them plus, it's too early!
We walked with our hands holding each other. It's really easy to be friends with her.
xxx Two Years Later xxx
"I can't believe your graduating", I looked at Ryujin like a a proud mother.
"I felt like I just called you a stupid nerd yesterday. Do you have any plans?", she asked me.
"There's this one apartment near the university we are attending. I was thinking if you would like to live together."
"Hell Yes!", Ryujin jumped on top of me and kissed me a million times.
