Peacefully painting on a beach outside on the school grounds, when Poppy angrily storms around the corner. "Woah Poppy what's wrong?" Y/N asked delicately pausing her action. Huffing the American girl sat down next to her roommate "I don't want to talk about it" she grumbled crossing her arms. Humming the Y/H/C girl nodded understanding. Suddenly the window above the girls was thrown open and a snotty looking girl (who oddly resembled a horse) called down to the two students "Do you have a pass to be out during lesson" in a obnoxious tone. Rolling her eyes the quiet girl took a deep breath "Not that it's any of your business Harriet, but yes I do!" Silently suprised Poppy turned to the girl who usually said very little. "And what about your trampy friend Y/N" Harriet coyly asked venomously "The only trampy one here is you Harriet, do you know how desperate you look when you throw yourself at my brother?" The English girl called out starting to pack up her art supplies knowing this conversation wouldn't end well. Turning to the now silent American girl holding her hand out Y/N whispered "Come on Poppy". Before the girl could stand up a shed load of water poured over the girl making her look like a drowned rat. Harriet smirked evilly before sarcastically apologising and slamming the window closed. Sighing the y/s/t girl wrapped a spare arm around her sopping wet friend "Come on Poppy let's get you out of these wet clothes." Tugging the American toward their shared dorm "You know life would be easier here if you made some friends Pop." she stated sadly. "I have friends back in America..... and I have you that's enough."
"Not Poppy it isn't, how can you expect to like it here if you don't let people like you." Closing the door quietly being them and heading to her bed the girl tried to get her new dorm mate to understand.
