Suiciety

I live in a world where we are judged.

They make us cry until our make-up is forever smudged.

We have to be skinny, pretty, and tall,

Or no one talks to us at all.

I live in a world which is run by society.

I live in a world that doesn't accept my variety.

I live in a world that is cruel,

I live in a world that is high school.

The tears we shed,

Stain our cheeks until we're dead.

Every time the blade kissed your wrist,

It was thinking you would not be missed.

It was society that put the guns in our hands.

And the only things that could save us were our bands.

We live in a world which is ruled by society,

A society that was never based on propriety.
