PFOTD: The longest living shark recorded was a Greenland shark that was 272 years old. Greenland sharks are sleeper sharks that are mainly not as active as Great-whites and Hammer-heads. Their low activity and habitat of icy, dark water keeps these sharks living up to 400-500 years.
