Harvard

~ FLASHBACK TO WHEN THEY WERE 18~

~ ENTOAN POV~ *WOT OH YA*

I opened my eyes and looked at the alarm clock. It was 10 Am which meant mail was here. I got excited and ran downstairs and outside to check the mailbox. I saw a manilla envelope that said it was from Harvard University. I smiled. It was finally here. Today was finally the day. Today was the day I got to see if I got into Harvard.

I had always wanted to go to an Ivy League College, especially Harvard. My friends all said I was genius and that I would no doubt make it, and I was starting to believe then considering I received such a big envelope.

I walked inside and started to making some coffee, as well as putting bread in my toaster. I put cream and sugar into my coffee and set it on the table when I heard a "ding". I walked over and pulled the toast out of the toaster and setting it in the take between the coffee and the envelope.

I sat down and took a swig off coffee as I picked up the envelope. I took a breath in and out as I slowly began to open the envelope. I peeked in and saw a bunch of papers and brochures. "YES!" I screamed.

I pulled out the first paper and skimmed over it and saw the words "APPLICATION DENIED" in big bolded letters.
(This was the point where my mum butt dialed me in the car and I heard the song "Boom Clap" and started to sing along XD)

"No WHAT?" I could not believe my eyes. I started over from the top, this time reading every single thing.

Gunner,
We would like to first off say how flattered we are by wanting to go to our amazing school, and that your essay and application. You seem extremely intelligent but we regret to inform that you're application has been denied.

At the bottom of the page was the big bolded "APPLICATION DENIED" stamp.

I felt tears forming in my eyes as I looked through the brochures, all suggesting a different colleges. I broke into tears.

~ LIZZIE POV~

I knocked at Entoan's door again, looking at my watch. It was 11:50, we were going to be late for hanging out with Minx and Chilled. I twisted at his doorknob which was surprisingly unlocked.

"Entoan?" I quietly yelled. "Entoan?"

I walked into the kitchen and noticed a smashed cup on the table with an unfinished breakfast and a pile of letters. I moved the pike of letters and saw drops of a dark red liquid.

"ENTOAN!" I was yelling as loudly as possible. "ENTOAN!"

~ ENTOAN POV~

I dug the ceramics into my skin and felt pain. But it didn't hurt me, it made me feel better and I smiled as I saw the deep red liquid run down my arm. I did it again and again until someone walked into the bathroom I was in. It was Lizzie. She had a blue sweat shirt with a start on it, black leggings and orange and yellow high tops. I frowned. "Leave." I said it quietly but she just stood there crying. "I DON'T WANT YOU TO SEE THIS!" I was now yelling. We both just kind of stood there as she continued to cry harder and harder.

I started to cut myself again, right in front of her. "ENTOAN STAHP!" She yelled falling to the floor. She tried to take the ceramic part from the mug, but I wouldn't let her.

"WHY?"

She looked up at me with her red eyes.

"WHY DO YOU CARE?" I yelled and she let go of me and gave me a stuff hug.

"Entoan," she started as she released. "Entoan I love you." I heard those words come from her lips as she pulled me closer and closer. I closed my eyes and soon felt our lips crash.
