You say it when you want something.
"Love you"
You say it even when you don't mean it.
"I'm sorry"
Said even though you aren't.
"I love you"
I've heard it so many times.
In so many ways.
From so many people.
In all different places.
At all different times.
I think they're lies,
how many times they're said.
We say them without thinking.
We say them with no meaning.
Sometimes I think maybe it's true,
then you turn around to someone new.
