18. Wedding EXTRAvaganza

SOOOO A LOT IS GOING TO HAPPEN THIS CHAPTER SO YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. ALSO I WROTE THIS WHEN I SHOULD'VE BEEN SLEEPING... ANYWAYSSSSSS ON TO THE CHAPTER....

With only one day left till the wedding, the boys put everything into their practices.

..................The Morning of The Wedding...................

Dozens of wedding planners were running around trying to get everything perfect. At this point, Amara had fully turned in to bridezilla. "Why are there pink carnations with the white carnations on the purple tables!"

"So what's going on, "I whispered to Yoongi. "This is the pre-wedding ceremony this is for all the quest to mingle. It's pretty much a brunch."Yoongi explained.

"Then we are having a traditional Hindu ceremony. Then we are changing the location to have an American wedding ceremony and then a big after party. Most Indian weddings last three days and I'm trying to do my whole wedding in one so sorry if I'm really stressed."Amara said from behind me and Yoongi we turned around. She had a sheepish look on her face.

"It's ok," I responded as I rubbed her arm. "So when are we meeting the groom, "Yoongi asked. "You'll see."Amara beamed.

Within a half hour, hundreds of guest started to trickle in. I'm pretty sure I saw Nick and Priyanka.

Yoongi was right about guest mingling. Everyone was just drinking, eating and talking. "He's coming!"Someone said.

Everyone ran outside. Not only was a man riding towards the venue on a white horse. He also had a whole entourage of guys on horses behind him."Arjun!"Amara yelled and ran through the crowd.

Taehyung was next to me."Arjun and Amara have an arranged marriage. Amara tried to run away after she heard she was going to have an arranged marriage. Then her parents asked her to meet the guy at least once. Which she did, and she ended up falling in love"Tae explained.

"How do you know all this?"I asked. "She told me when I was braiding her hair yesterday."He explained.

After Arjun got off the horse and Amara and Arjun embraced each other everyone made their way back inside.

I was eating and talking to Yoongi when he said. "I got to go we're going we're performing soon."After about five minutes, music started, and the curtains on the stage opened. Suga, Tae, Jimin, Jin, Hobi, Jungkook and Namjoon were standing in formation.

"You can call me artist (artist). You can call me idol (idol). 아님 어떤 다른 (다른) 뭐라 해도 I don't care. I don't care." Namjoon rapped.

Throughout the performance, they were all in sync, and everyone sang there part perfectly. The performance ended with them sitting on the floor with there heads down. All the guest were clapping and cheering including me.

Everyone was then guided to a different room where it was clear the traditional Hindu ceremony was going to happen. The room was filled with bright and bold colors.

We were all sitting. After a few minutes, the boys came and sat next to me.

Then Amara came she was wearing a bright red dress, and her arms were covered in henna. I didn't notice at the pre-wedding brunch cause she was wearing a long-sleeved shirt.

Amara's father walked her to the mandap, which is a beautifully decorated elevated platform where the ceremony takes place.

Then many rituals took place. Such as the firing burning in the center of the mandap to signal that marriage is not a contract but a partnership of two people in love. The bride and groom also exchange floral garlands. Also, a red powder was applied to Amara's hair to signify she was married. Arjun tied a necklace called the Magala Sutra around Amara's neck to symbolize the blessing to come during the marriage. And many more rituals and traditions took place.
