Chapter six

Part two - chapter six
Wolfs outta the bag.

I seen embry walk over to my Jeep.
"Hey, can I ride with you?" He asked. I just nodded. Not really looking at him.

"You ain't gonna turn into one of those things are you though. Because I don't think I can get jake to fix the Jeep if the Jeep is completely gone." He chuckled.
"Nah, the Jeep is Safe." I just nodded.

I followed the guy I learned was named Jared as he drove Bella's truck.
"So you turn into one of those things?" I asked. Embry looked at me.
" Uh, Yeah. The night I ran from you and Quil I phased. Sam was there to help me." He said.
"Phased?" I asked.
"Well, Yeah. The first time I turned into a wolf, which was brutal." I felt bad.
"I'm sorry." I turned to look at him. He looked me in the eyes. Then frowned.
"No it's okay." He said looking down.
"What's wrong." I asked.
"Nothing, just wanted to see something..." I was confused, not knowing what he meant.
I nodded though. The rest of the ride was silent.

When we pulled up to a little house, I guess Emily's place.
They both whooped or whatever that sound was as they got out of mine and Bella's cars. I got out following them, when Bella rolled down her window.
"Hey, I think we should go back and see if Jacobs okay." She shouted.
"I hope Paul sinks some teeth in him. Serves him right." Jared said. I followed after them as they stared to walk closer to the house.
"No way. Jacobs a natural. You see him phase on the fly? I got five says Paul doesn't touch him." Embry said. I chuckled at the two.

"Come on in, Bella. We don't bite." Embry hollered out turning around to look behind us at Bella.
"Speak for yourself." Jared said.
"Hey, watch it that's my little sister." I said making him chuckle.

Bella got out and walked over towards us.
"Oh, hey, about Emily, Sams fiancée? Don't stare. It bugs Sam." Embry said before walking in.
"Why would we stare?" Bella said. We walking in.

"Are you guys hungry? Like I have to ask?" I walked in hearing a women talking.

I stood in the door way with Bella. When the girl turned around. She had a scar going down her face. I smiled at her.

"Who's this?" She asked the guys.
"Bella swan and Alex swan. Who else?" Jared said.
"How do you know me? Bella I get jake is in love with her, but me?" I asked.
"Well, embry here. Just loves to talk about you." I nodded.
"Oh okay." I said before walking in a little more.
"Hmm. So. You're the vampire girl." I looked at her weird. Vampire?
"So you're the wolf girl." I meant lily rolled my eyes at Bella's awkwardness.
"Guess So. Well I'm engaged to one." She said putting down a plate of muffins.
Jared went to grab one but Emily grabbed his hand.
"Save some for your brothers. And ladies first. Muffin." She asked. More pointed at Bella. But I also answered.
"Sure, I'm gay does that count me as being able to get one when girls do?" I said laughing walking up and taking a muffin.
They laughed.
"I don't think it works that wAy Alex." Embry said. I shrugged.
"Works that way for me." Making them laugh again.
"Sure thanks." Bella said walking up towards the table to get a muffin. I had already started to eat mine.
"Leave it to Jacob to find a way around Sams gag order." Emily said.
"Um, he didn't say anything to us." Bella told her also speaking for me as I took a bite of the muffin.
"That's a wolf thing. Alphas orders get obeyed whether we want them to or not. Oh and check it out. We can hear each other's thoughts." Embry said.
"Would you shut up? These are trade secrets. Damn it. This chick runs with vampires." Jared said. I flinched at the cuss word. I've never really like them. But also thinking about the word vampire. I looked back at Bella.
"You can't really run with vampires, 'CAuse they're fast." Bella told them. I was still looking at her confused.
"Yeah? Well, we're faster, freaked out yet." Jared told her.
"You're not the first monsters I've met." She said.
"Hang on, vampires?" I asked.
"Oh, looks like Bella's got some trade secrets as well." Embry said while looking at me.
"Jakes right. You're good with weird." Sam said walking in before I could get a answer about the vampire thing.
He walked over kissing Emily.

While Jake and the other guy came in messing around.
One going straight for the muffins. Not really looking at me or Bella, just the muffins.
Bella looked at jake, who stood at the door. The one sat down then looked at me, our eyes meeting. He stopped eating his muffin and just stared.
"Holy shit." Jared said.
I flinched once again at the word.
"What? And please if you going to say the s word say crap or sugar honey iced tea, that's what I use." He looked at me before smiling.
"Okay, holy sugar honey iced tea." He said. I looked at embry, his jaw clenching. I was so confused. The guy finally came out of his trance.
Then turned to bella. Like nothing happened.
"Sorry." He said, a smirk plastered on his face.

I sat there confused out of my mind, vampires? What ever weird thing happened with the guy. And the fact I found drawn to him.
"I'm Paul." He said smiling at me. I smiled.
"Alexander but people call me Alex ." And with that he began eating his muffin.
Bella walked out with Jacob leaving me alone, a gay guy in a room by myself with four other guys shirtless. Great.

"Okay, can someone please tell me about why y'all said bella was 'running' with vampires.
"I'm sorry, that's Bella's story to tell." Sam said. I nodded.

"Okay. Well, I won't tell anyone about anything I saw today, and I'm just going to go, I've had enough weird for the week." I said. I said bye to all of them. And walked out getting in my Jeep. Embry ran up to the window.
"Listen I'm sorry, but I don't want to hurt you, so maybe we should Uh, call off the whole me and you thing...." he said. I nodded.
"Yeah, sure whatever." And with that I drove away. Going straight home, diving faster than the speed limit I'm just wanted to get home and get a shower forgetting today even happened.
