I am in love with the world.
Sure, there are bad parts of the world. Things that are falling apart.
But there are also beautiful things. Like mountains that turn green in the spring after the snow melts, waves that crash against the shore, and trees that sway in the wind. Even simple things are beautiful, like the one flower bud on a tree, new life after a bare winter, the small blades of grass poking through the dirt.
Also people...people are amazing. Their smiles, giggles, and tears. All the vulnerable parts of them that I absolutely adore. I love to meet people and get to know them. I love to know about their past, present, and future. I love to know their thoughts and dreams, no matter how weird. I will listen to it all and feel a deeper connection to them because of it.
I'm in love with the world. This beautiful, wonderful, magnificent world.
