Seol linked the word
trust with
her boyfriend.
it's something
she had immediately
felt with him,
when they met
by the sea.

trust,
as well as,
amity,
fondness,
courtesy
and loyalty.

the trust in their
developing relationship
is what urged her to
want to tell him
about her
panic disorder-
something that she's
been living with and
battling for years,
a mental illness that is
unstable, furtive to society
as she suffers.

but something else
forcefully pressed her to
open up too-
an argument
between
Seol and Taehyung.

Seol usually never
opened up.
she kept to herself and
interred her feelings, reflections
deep underground.
one way she distracted herself
was studying.

so, inevitably
it lead to an argument,
where Taehyung felt hopeless
and Seol felt guilty.

"i hardly know
anything about you."
he said out of annoyance,
trying to stay composed
as his hands rushed through
his newly dyed locks.

"why won't you
open up to me?"
he asked with care
and crouched down
on his knees
so he was
at her level.

and Seol
isn't one to
back away.
her nature
was fierce,
and always
will be.
"fine,
here's another
sorrowful story
for you to hear.
it's nothing ..
you haven't
heard before
since you're a
therapist!"

Seol didn't want to
tell her boyfriend
about the day
she collapsed
on the train,
nauseous,
full of fatigue
as she suffered
a panic attack
where she thought
she was going to die.

she didn't
tell him
because although,
there was trust ...
there was
his career.

"you work with
people like me."
Seol huffed,
trust still held
in both
of their hearts.
