tossing and turning, you stare straight to the ceiling. you rest your hands on your stomach, unknowingly letting a loud sigh.
"can't sleep?" he murmurs sleepily.
"yeah...sorry that i woke you up." you whisper before turning to face him, who closes his eyes. you trace your thumb across his brows, watching him sleep. seconds later, he grabs you by your waist and pulls you closer, with your head, rests against his chest.
you hear his heartbeat beating rythmically, before listening to his voice, singing you to sleep. his hand rubs your back calmingly, while kissing your forehead.
"sleep tight, honey."
