Chapter 3

She jolted awake, scanning around the bedroom unfamiliar with her surroundings. That's when she remembered last night.

Omg, my belongings- Her eyes landed on a huge closet, she remove the duvet and walk towards it. She turns the knob and steps inside the wardrobe

Oh, they're right here. Wow! It's so perfectly organized

The female was pulled out of her thoughts by a knock on the door. "Are you awake love? It's me, may I come in?"

"Uh, yes you may" she politely replied and sat on the bed

"Morning love" Mr Kim greeted as he close the door shut

"Good morning Mr Kim" a wave of fear engulfs her

"Call me Taehyung. Don't be afraid of me, okay love?" He whispered and raise her chin gently

De'arra nods her head, "Words doll" his voice deepened

"Okay" She felt her cheeks getting warm. A slight smirk appeared on his lips

"I have few things to deal with today, and here's your new phone. Call me if you need anything, yeah?" He press his lips on her forehead

"Thank you" She shyly said

"I'll be back tonight, you're welcome to explore the house if you want"

"Will I be alone while you're gone?"

"No love, my best men will keep you company. He can be a pain in the ass though" He jokingly warned

De'arra let out a giggle before replying, "Won't be a problem"

Ah! That angelic sound. Taehyung thought

"Bye love" He rub her back and left for work

This man is stunning! Fuck!

De'arra squeal at everything that had just happened and grab some clothes from her wardrobe before heading for the shower

She wander around hoping to find the kitchen but this place was huge. Apparently, luck was on her side and she found the stairs, at the bottom she could see the large kitchen from there.

De'arra walk down and a short male in there kitchen sitting down on his phone.

I'm guessing this Taehyung's best men.

He sensed her presence and approach her

"Hi you must be De'arra ! I'm Jimin, do you need something to eat?"

"That would be nice, thank you" He gave her a warm smile and began to cooking.

"I can give you a hand, if that's okay" she offered

"You sit and relax. I got it. May I ask, what happened there?"

"Where?" She frown face in confusion

"Right there" He said pointing at her bruised cheek

"Oh that, well my step father slapped me for trying to pack my belongings last night"

"He hits you often?" His voice laced with worry

"All the time but I'm used it. College is the only thing that distracts me"

"I'm sorry you went through that, but you're safe now. Taehyung will keep you safe. Don't worry"  He said grabbing a plate from the cabinet

"Can I ask you something? You know who V is?"

"Yes. He's the most powerful mafia here in Seoul"

"Students in my college often brought his name up but I didn't get to take a look of what his appearance were cause it's hidden" she shrug

"V is Kim Taehyung. We're the biggest criminal gang here in Seoul. He rule the underground world full of weapons and drugs"

"No way! You deadass right now? And you guys never get caught?"

"Of course not and We never will. We have some law enforcement allies too"

"He's also the ceo of Kim Enterprise" He added, serving the female her breakfast

"Thank you, so you're basically saying he's a normal ceo during daytime and a cold vicious killer during nighttime?"

"There you go, very smart darling. He's different with you, which I am intrigued about"

"M-me? It hasn't been 24hrs since we met, how can he--"

"This morning he came down from your room
with a smile on his face, he doesn't smile often and what does that tell you?"

"Well uh--"

"Exactly" The short-male wiggled his eyebrows

"I have a feeling this marriage will be a successful one"

De'arra blush at the words and eat her breakfast

"I hope me giving you this heavy information won't make you runaway" A small chuckle fell from his mouth

"Actually I feel safe and protected around him. Running away won't do me any good"

"Clever girl, I like you already"

"We have a problem boss"

"What is it, can it wait? I'm quite busy right now" He said doing amounts of paperwork

"Someone is hear to speak with you, it's very important"

"Let him in" He mumble pushing his work to the side

Then a police officer walk in his office and bowed

"Officer Ryan, what can I do for you?"  He held a gaze of a fearsome tiger

"Mr Kim, one of the officers is looking into you"

"I bet it's Kai's hand" The pale-male retorted

"Keep a close eye on him and let me know if anything happens"

"Yes boss" The officer bowed and left

"He wants to play dirty, huh? Then we should play the sick game as well, isn't that right boss?"

"Indeed we should, tonight make the call. I'll show him who he's messing with"
