3. One Autumn Morning

Once I woke up,
In a cool spring morning,
I heard birds chirping,
And temple bells ringing,
The hawker man calling,
To get him good selling,
Which got me goosebumps,
Still felt soothing.

The wind came through ,
The doorway of my balcony,
Blowing all the curtains,
And flowers of ebony.
Touched my hair and
Scattered them playfully
Made me smile and
Rejoice so suddenly.

The glinting sunshine that enlightened the world,
Not so warm,
Not even so cold,
But as pure as gold,
Narrated the equalising effect,
Of the cool spring morning.

The fresh air that touched,
The water in the pond,
Created whirlpools,
And couldn't help people succumb,
To hop into the pool so cool,
An enjoying being numb.

The cute little puppies and,
The sparrows in the sky,
The turtles at the banks,
And ducks in the water,
Choired together,
And sang the wandering wind's,
Sweet cacophony.

This very melancholic morning,
Came as a glorious gift for me,
Charged me, energised me,
And helped me find a new me.
