Imagine.... You were new to New York and youdidn't like it what so ever. It's not good having social anxiety and being in such a big town. You were on your way into your apartment whenyousaw your neighbor sitting on thestairs. You were talking to yourself in your head thinkingofdifferent ways to saysomethingto him.
"Are you new?" He asked.
"Yeah." You said looking down at your feet.
"You okay? You dont seem right." He asked.
"Yeah justsomethings." You said.
"I see? You have anxiety?" He asked. I looked up at him and wondered how he knew.
"Um social anxiety actually." You said. "How didyouknow?"
"I also have social anxiety. I'm trying to work on it though. So why not try with someoneelse who has the same experience as you?" He asked. Hes making you feel a little more calmed and happy.
"I'm Elliot." He said.
"I'm y/n." You said.
"Not a fan of touching either huh?" He asked.
"Yeah." You said.
"Me too." He said giving you a smile. You're just happy because now you have a new friend and someone who you can actually talkto if you ever need anything.
