AS THE THREE OF THEM ARRIVED AT THE portrait of the Fat Lady, they all froze in realization.

"Does anyone knows the password?" Harper asked carefully, eying the two guys beside her.

"Well, uh," Ron muttered as Harry shook his head.

"No password, no entry," the portrait stated and Harper gritted my teeth.

Suddenly, they heard a pair of footsteps approaching and turned to see it was Hermione.

Harper greeted her with a smile, but that was quickly gone as Hermione gave them a lecture.

"There you are! Where have you been? The most ridiculous rumors—someone said you'd been expelled for crashing a flying car."

"Well," Harper replied, scratching her neck, "at least we aren't expelled."

Her eyes widened. "You're not telling me you did fly here?" she said with a scolding look.

"Skip the lecture and give us the password," Ron said, having enough of it already. Harper silently agreed.

Hermione glared at him. "It's 'wattlebird' but that's not the point—"

She was cut of when the portrait swung open and a storm of clapping was heard. It looked like all of Gryffindor House was awake.

Harry, Ron and Harper were pulled inside while Hermione scrambled in after them.

"Brilliant!" Lee yelled, slinging his arm around Harper's shoulders. "Inspiring! What an entrance! Flying a car right into the Whomping Willow, people'll be talking about that one for years . . ."

Fred and George pushed through the crowd and grinned at them. "Why couldn't we've come in the car, eh?" they asked in unison.

Harper laughed as the two of them lifted her up. As she looked around the common room, she saw one person who didn't look happy at all. Percy was visible over the heads of some excited first-year's, and he seemed to be trying to get near enough to start telling them off.
