She burns.

She burns,
Silently in the darkness of night,
At dusk it ignites, at dawn it fights,
Fights to get her rights,
Fights for what's right,
Still she's left to burn, by the demons,
Whom she thought were her allies but turned into venom,
And that every night,

How she wishes to see the light,
She has dreams to shine, again urges the demons to confide,
What more did she ask for ?
Some rays which she deserves,
Little do they know these thoughts are now poison to her soul,
And it's getting old, old enough to perish in the cold
And that's simply what she wished.
Oh those who wiped her soul,
Have mercy to let her go !
