[Passione telling their (s/o) about their past {PART 6}]
- the closest his (s/o) gets to him talking about it is asking what he does for a living
- he says he used to be a police officer and then end of discussion
- he doesn't even say what his current occupation is
- even on why he stopped being a police officer
- he does want to tell them, trust me he really does
- and he wants to trust them with all of his heart
- but something in his brain is just not letting him
- he does go to Bruno for advice on what to do about the situation
- Bruno awws at what Abbacchio is telling him, which embarasses Abbacchio
- Bruno tells him that just him and his (s/o) being together should show that Abbacchio trust them enough
- and that he should be able to share his experience with them
- "if they want to leave you after you are done talking about your past to them, remember it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself like you have been for years now."
- Abbacchio will gladly use the advice given to him by his Capo
- right when he goes through that door he'll tell his (s/o) that he needs to talk to them about something important
- as soon as they are settled, Abbacchio takes multiple deep breaths
- in his mind he tries to be confident, but then that confidence gets drowned with insecurity
- what if they do want to leave him after this?
- but then he remembers what Bruno told him about not to blame himself if anything happens
- he begins by talking about how his downfall of being a police officer started
- accepting that bribe and letting the guy get away
- his (s/o) looks and sees that Abbacchio is filled with guilt
- Abbacchio then said about his partner that risked his life to save him
- after being stripped of his police badge he was in a depressive state and then met the guy who changed everything for him, Bruno
- his (s/o) can tell he is very thankful to Bruno and his happy that someone can make Abbacchio happy
- Abbacchio does tell his (s/o) how he truly feels
- "I'm sorry if it seems like I'm never there for you, I understand if you wouldn't want to be with a man like me. I do want to trust you and I hope we can make all this work."
- This honestly makes his (s/o) cry and it freaks him out
- he doesn't know how to deal with crying women
- he gives them a kiss on the forehead when the waterworks are over
- and yes it does leave a purple lipstick stain
- it may not look like it but he loves his (s/o) with all of his heart
