Warmth filled the room as the two girls cuddled together in a bundle of soft blankets, feeling the heat from the fireplace all over their bodies. It was their happy place, both of them were worry-free and bathed in the love that they had for each other

"NO WAY"

Cheryl's mouth fell open as she had just heard what Toni had said, leaving the pink-haired girl giggling and squeezing Cheryl's hand, knowing that she would get mad and trying to calm her down

"Veronica said WHAT?

Toni took a deep breath before getting up from her lover's embrace and repeating herself, trying not to burst out in laughter

"She said that you had a crush on me...But don't get mad! I, for one, think its really cute and sweet."

Toni could feel Cheryl start to move up from the pile of blankets and clench her fist as if she was about to fight against someone, in a way, that wasn't that big of a lie considering the fact that she felt like she was about to kill Veronica

"How in the world could she say something like that? First of all, she knew that saying that would ruin our friendship, second of all she has no way of knowing who i like-

''But you do like me...right?"

Toni let out a childish smile as she cut Cheryl off, holding her laughs in so hard that it almost became painful

"YES OF COURSE, BUT SHE HAD NO RIGHT TO TELL YOU THAT AND THE FACT THAT SHE DID IS JUST RUDE AND HORRIBLE! PLUS SHE TRIED TO TAKE YOU AWAY FROM ME, EVEN IF SHE KNEW THAT I HAD FEELINGS FOR YOU, SHE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THAT SHE JUST WENT FOR IT, SHE DIDN,T EVEN THINK ABOUT HOW THAT WOULD AFFECT ME AND MY LIFE AND I JUST CAN'T-"

"Hey...hey.. It's okay, everything is going to be alright because you know what? I like you, not her, and there is nothing that anyone could do to change my mind, just take deep breaths, i'm here, i'm with you and i'm not leaving."

At this point Cheryl could feel the pink-haired girl's hands cup her cheeks, letting warm tears run onto her nimble fingers, setting sparks throughout both of their bodies, letting them both dive into a pool of silence and serenity"Hey, how about we watch a movie? I'm sure it'll help with the whole situation"

Toni reached out for the remote, letting go of Cheryl, and pointed it towards the big flat screen T.V. that was located over the fireplace.

"Yeah, i guess, you can just put on whatever movie you want, i don't mind"

Toni looked at the redhead with sad eyes as she put on the first movie that popped up, to then resting her back towards the big pillows as they both positioned each other to be as comfortable as they wanted to.

An hour had passed since the two girls had been mindlessly watching the movie, still having trouble to understand the plot but not really caring. As Toni looked over at Cheryl, she could see that she was clearly cold and almost shivering

"Hey Cheryl um, are you cold? You look freezing, you're practically shaking"

The girl swallowed and took a deep breath before answering, trying her best not to shutter

"Just a b-bit, but i'm fine though, don't worry"

Toni immediately tugged on her lover's hand and pulled her closer to her, almost nagging and teasing

"Hey, are you serious why didn't you tell me? Okay come here, and i'm not taking no as an answer"

She watched as Cheryl got up and moved into her arms, practically lying on her and slowly resting her head on her chest. Cheryl almost immediately felt the soft heartbeat of the pink haired girl along with a heat of wave spreading to her and leaking into her whole body. The two got closer until Toni was practically resting her chin on Cheryl's head and wrapping her arms around her whole body, keeping her as warm as possible. Toni could see the way that Cheryl's hand was hesitantly moving its way towards her thigh and tightened her arms around her to let her know that it was okay.

"Its okay, i promise"

Cheryl slowly put her hand in Toni's thigh and let her eyelids close, both girls were tightly pressed against eachother, never wanting the moment to end and dosing off to sleep, letting the room fill with human warmth and love.

They were in love.
