It really has been a while
since proper words were exchanged
But even though the wind laments now
I reassure you
The calm of the waves will return
I can just feel it
Just wait for it with me
The moon is guiding them night by night

The calm will come again
The calm will return soon
Remember the times we used to enjoy together
the times the sun was still out, casting away clouds
I'm sure you miss them as much as I do, if not more
They may be gone for now, but
The calm of the waves will return
I can just feel it
Just wait for it with me
The moon is guiding them night by night

No storm lasts forever
so don't give up
It'll only be for just a little longer
The clouds that are in the sky, they're fading
bit, by bit, by bit
The calm will come again
I know, I know
we can't help but feel how we do
I understand, I really do,
we're both finding it hard to stay happy
but truthfully, there's really no need for this
It's not like this pain will last forever
So keep your chin up, for both you and me
I promise, it won't be much longer now
everything will be alright
