With everyone, except two people, passing the license exam, everyone's hopes were high. The weekend was coming soon and everyone was making plans to celebrate. I had already celebrated with my parents but I hadn't celebrated with any of my classmates. Walking from the dorms, I placed my hand to my chin and began to think about all the possible people I could invite to a get-together.

I began to mumble to myself. "Midoriya is hanging out with Iida and Uraraka.... Kirishima is working out... Bakugo doesn't like me. I'm definitely not asking any girls out... I don't have the courage. Almost everyone else was invited to a party by Momo. I would go but I wasn't invited and plus I'm not a big fan of parties."

I sighed and began to approach the school. Though it was Friday, I was excited for a break from school. Just as I looked up, I saw Toru peaking around a pillar. It looked like she was looking for someone or hiding.

"Hi Toru, " I interrupted her concentration, causing her to jump and squeak, "everything okay?"

"Hi Toru, " I interrupted her concentration, causing her to jump and squeak, "everything okay?"

"Oh... um... Hi (Y/N)... yeah I'm fine." She said.

Because I couldn't see her facial expression, I had to go off of her speech pattern and cadence. She seemed uneasy, maybe shy.

"You don't sound okay. Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything right? I won't hesitate to help a friend." I said approaching her worried.

She backed away from me waving her hands, "No no no, " She bumped into the pillar, cutting off her escape, "I'm fine, I promise. I do need help with something though." She put her hands behind her back and tapped her shoe on the ground.

"Anything Toru, what can I do for you?" I calmed down a little. I had no choice but to take her word for it.

She hesitated to speak and she began to sniffle. I looked on the ground and there were wet drops soaking into the concrete. I stared sympathetically at the drops and approached her, hugging her. Neither of us said a word. She only clung on to me, crying silently into my uniform. I rubbed her hair as she sobbed. After she eventually began to calm down, she looked up at me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to breakdown like that." She said wiping her eyes while still leaning into me.

"It's fine Toru, will you please tell me what's wrong now?" I said squeezing her a little tightly and rubbing her hair.

"Well. It's just a little self-esteem issue. See... everybody is celebrating tonight and tomorrow but nobody invited me. Nobody asked me to celebrate with them." She said leaning her forehead into my chest.

"What about Ojiro? I thought you two were close." I rested my chin on her head.

She released me and stood on her own. "He's meditating and training, I didn't want to be a bother."

"I know that feeling..." I said as I reached into my pocket. I handed her a handkerchief.

She took it and dabbed her face with it. I also pulled out my handy notepad and began to write on it.
