I think back to our second date daily, how that day went so well and all of the memories that were made.
It had started with me getting ready and telling my mother I was heading out, her telling me to be careful and get back before ten o'clock. The walk to destination was refreshing, and getting there was the best when I was able to see your face and hear your voice once again.
We were drinking our milkshakes, talking, laughing, watching the other people as they passed by, just like we had a few minutes before. I can remember you telling me about reading the Hunger Games when they first came out, how you played Beyblade in second grade, how you had some places to go to later that day and how excited you were to go out. I can remember the way your hand felt on my legs and how much I wanted to kiss you, even if you weren't mine yet.
We had gone to other stores around the town looking for different gag gifts and you had noticed a lot of my small habits and laughed when I started playing hopscotch on the side walk.
The walk home with you was nice, it had made me think of the way that our hands never let go of each other. It made me think of how we hadn't touched our phones during the hours that we were together during and how just a few weeks before, we were just two children that were in a club together , you the construction and special effects manager and me, the props mistress. How one of the days during that production you had caught me dancing with the cast members and I named you the father of our Pringle child, which, latter on, we had given to the director.
I do believe during that walk is when I really realized how much I liked you.
