17 years in the past...

"Father! Where are you taking him?! Let him go Father! He's just a child!" Lady Fatima Opulentia ran in the open garden as she was trying to reach his father who had caged her only son, Prince Seth Opulentia. "Father please! He's only 4 years old! He knows nothing of what has happened to him!" She had grabbed her father's arms and begged him to let her son go.

"Let me go Fatima!" Lord Victor Opulentia, head of the most powerful family of celestial beings in the land of Raguen, said. "Your child is a curse to this family!" Without any other thought Lord Victor pushed her daughter aside making her hit the ground hard. "You will learn to thanks me later on." With that he walked away with Prince Seth in his cage.

"Mother!" Prince Seth yelled as he saw his mother is bleeding from a head wound.

"My lord?" One of the palace knights gave Lord Victor a questioning look as he saw his majesty bringing with him a cage with the prince in it.

"Ask no question knight." Lord Victor put down the cage. "Unsheathe your sword."

The knight did as what he was told. Unsheathing his sword Lord Victor took it. Taking the lock out of the cage the Prince darted away from his own grandfather who wants him dead.

"You cannot run my dear boy." Lord Victor sweetly said, mocking the young prince. Turning around to the palace knights he said, "Surround the boy. He must be killed for he has the blood of darkness running through his veins."

"Where is my mother?!" Prince Seth asked bravely as the knights had already surrounded him. He looked around and saw his grandfather standing in the middle with him. "Where is my mother?!" He asked again.

"You shouldn't worry about your mother boy. She is safe. Unlike you, that is." Lord Victor who has already gotten near the boy made a swing with the sword and hit the child at the chest. The prince screamed as the pain of his wound was unbearable, blood was oozing out of the wounded prince. The knights did nothing to protect the prince for they are merely humans with no magical abilities thus powerless against the power of the purebloods or the celestial beings. "Die immediately so this place can be now safe from your cursed presence." And with that the lord swung again his sword.

"No...!" The prince closed his eyes and used his hands to protect himself from the direct hit of the sword. He waited for the pain to come but nothing happened. He slowly opened his eyes and saw his mother who was smiling back at him. "Mommy!" he whined, hugged his mother and started crying.

"Now, now my dear child. Stop crying." Lady Fatima landed in a place just a few meters away from her grandfather and the guards. She let him down and he saw that her mother took the blow of the sword and was now bleeding.

"Mother, you're hurt."

"This is nothing. Now I want you to hide in those trees."

"What about you?" He looked behind him and saw that his grandfather had retracted his wings. And the knights were running towards them.

"I will be fine. Hide and be safe. Always remember that I love you. Now go!" She commanded. She looked at the young Seth who was now running towards the trees to hide. I love you, she mouthed the words as she saw her son looked back at her. She turned around to see her father standing in front of her a few feet away from her, and the knights standing at his back. She breathed deeply and unsheathed her own sword. "You will never harm him as long as I live father."

"Why do you so much wanted to protect that child?! You yourself do not even know who his father is!" Lord Victor said in a rage.

"I do know father. He was the man whom you killed in this very garden a few years ago. I never told you about him for I know that you will not approve of it."

"A man I killed in this garden?" Lord victor was puzzled by the sudden revelation.

"Yes father. He was a member of the Azuren family." Sadness crossed her eyes as she remembered her lover.

"You insolent child! He was a wizard! A plain wizard who doesn't deserve a pureblood like you! It was such a wonderful feeling when I killed him"

"He was here to take me away from these prison." As she was talking to her grandfather she also had retracted her wings. Only the purebloods can have wings. Their wings are just like the wings of a bird, with only the magnificent white as a color.

"Do you honestly think you can defeat your own father?"

"Yes I do. For so long I hated this place. This place that has been my prison ever since! You have never loved me! You are nothing but a foolish old man who holds dear to his wealth and power to put fear into the hearts of those around him!" Lady Fatima was now covered in her flames. Her flame as red as her blood that was dripping from the wound she received earlier.

"You dare insult your own father!" Rage now controls the mind of Lord Victor who is now surrounded by water. Only those of the purebloods are the only one who can control the 6 elements of life: earth, air, water, fire, and lightning.

"You were never my father! You were more like a monster who haunts me in my everyday life and who is now trying to haunt my child! You deserve to die!" with that, Lady Fatima swiftly flew to where her father stood. Raising her sword that is engulfed by her flames she made a stroke to hit her father.

Prince Seth hid in the trees to where his mother told him to hide. He had heard every word his mother and his grandfather had talked about. So I have a father? And grandfather killed him? Gazardin... so that it my fathers last name. He thought. Trying so hard to block of the noise from the fight he closed his eyes. He wanted to help, but how? He was only just a kid. A 4 years old kid for goodness sake! This was too much for him to bear. An experience that will leave scar for him to remember for his whole life. Speaking of scar, he winced at the pain he felt when he accidentally touched his wound on his own chest. Damn old man! He thought. He was about to examine it more closely when he heard the painful scream of his mother. He immediately got up to see what was happening, and there he saw his own mother impaled by the great celestial sword 'preyen' that was owned by his own grandfather. Crimson blood was dripping from the sword that shone even brighter when the light of the moon shone on it. His mother was beaten up pretty badly. Her long splendorous gown which she had worn with great pride moments ago was now ripped into pieces revealing her legs, chest and other body parts. Her eyes were half-open and have these empty look. Her right hand has a sword run through it. Her wings were broken and some of its feathers were falling to the ground. When he looked down from his mother's body he saw a pool of blood. M-mother? He was shaking badly at what he was seeing. He looked at his grandfather again and saw him pull back his sword and wiped it as blood gushes through her mother's body, like a fountain. His grandfather just smirked and wiped the blood of his own daughter off his face. He saw his grandfather talking to someone who was none other than his father who was smiling, not caring that his wife had been killed by Lord Victor. Clenching his fists, tears in his eyes he couldn't bare it anymore, "Mother....!" He screamed at the top of his lungs...
