Lesson 21: Meeting A New Friend

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, the perfect time to have a date with one's boyfriend and be all sweet towards each other

"Oi Jerred!" Ashley yelled.

Except for a certain couple.

Jerred walked ahead while Ashley was following him from behind, she kept yelling at him to stop walking and wait for her but he wouldn't listen. She was starting to get irritated but she was controlling her anger. She continued to followe her but then after bumping into one person after another, she lost sight of him.

"Gah!" she cried as she stopped walking and was standing in the middle of a huge crowd. "Jerred?" he yelled but he was not in sight

"Aish! Jeeez!" Ashley proclaimed. She decided to get our of the crowd first and maybe stay at a café to rest. She arrived at a nearby café and ordered, while waiting she decided to call Jerred but when she took out her phone, she clicked her tongue and mumbled "Dead batteries". She also didn't bring her charger with her, she was annoyed but couldn't do anything

"So much for a Saturday date with my husband. I guess I'll be going on a date with myself instead" Ashley said to herself. Her order arrived and asked the waiter that she'll take it out instead. Moments later, Ashley left the coffee shop while drinking her coffee mocha frappe. She put her earphones on and played some music from her iTouch since she didn't want to be bothered while she was walking around. She also noticed that there were a lot of people at the central park

"Someone famous must be around the area" she thought. She continued to walk around when she noticed a group of thugs by the corner. She decided to just ignore them but she saw the thugs bullying a young man and the young man was trying to get his way out but it wouldn't work.

"Hurry up and give us your money!" one of the thugs ordered.

"Okay2x, jeez!" the young man said as he was about to take out his wallet when

"What are you doing?" Ashley inserted. They all turned to her and were surprised to see her

"What's this? Why is a little girl here?" they asked, mocking Ashley. Ashley rolled her eyes and said "Aren't you guys the brats here? Trying to pick on someone and steal their money, pft. So childish" she said and it pissed them off

"What did you say!?" they proclaimed as one of them was about to hit Ashley but then she dodged it and she kicked him from behind and he fell on his knees

"Tsk tsk, just what were you trying to do?" she said. Another one went ahead and was about to hit her with a metal stick but she kicked the weapon away and she punched the guy and he was knocked out

"How weak" she said. The others went head on with her and she dodged them every time. Suddenly, someone came from behind and grabbed Ashley's arms and legs, she couldn't move. She was about to get hit when suddenly, the young man kicked the thug really hard and he fell on the ground and Ashley then used force to break away from the other thug. The young man then grabbed Ashley's hand and started running while the remaining thugs ran after them.

They decided to run towards the huge crowd in order to lose them and it looked like their plan worked. They stopped running after finally losing the thugs

"Whew! That was close" Ashley said while she was panting suddenly, the young man who was with her, hit her head.

"Ouch! Hey!" she cried as she turned to him but then she was surprised when she saw him angry

"What do you think were you doing young lady? Don't you know what you did was absolutely dangerous?! If those thugs had a knife or a gun with them, you could've gotten killed!" he lectured
