Sealing Fate (special chapter part 1)

Takes place before the Epilogue.

Both Tobirama and I were in love. Very much in love.

Tobirama decided that he'd make a move. To heck if he backs out now.

There he stood with Hashirama by his side glaring at Madara.

"I've come to ask you as the Clan Head for permission to take Izuna Uchiha's hand in marriage." Tobirama said stoically.

Madara's heart shattered.

"No." He said simply, "Nonononononononononononono!!"

Hashirama mushroom sighed, "C'mon Madara...please?"

Tobirama could only pray that the gods would help him...

"I-I...can't let you take my sister away...not yet." Madara said, "I...I need to know if I can trust you to protect her with your life..."

Madara Uchiha was against this. But, he prioritized his sister's happiness.

"Of course..." Tobirama answered.

"Would you save her even at the cost of a mission?"

"Yes."

"The cost of a client?"

"Yes."

"Would you choose her over the village?"

Tobirama's breath hitched.

"Madara! That's..." Hashirama said trying to find words.

"Yes."

"Eh?" Hashirama exclaimed.

"I only agreed to this village because I wanted a place where I could stay with her happily forever." Tobirama said determinedly, "Originally I didn't believe that the Uchiha and Senju could make up. But... your very own sister was the one to change my mind."

Madara said nothing.

Then he opened his mouth for the final question.

"Would you choose her life over your brother's?"

"Madara!! That's going to far!" Hashirama said with a frown.

"I wouldn't have to choose." Said Tobirama, "...because I'd protect her to my very last breath."

Tobirama took a breath.

"And if that scenario did happen...I'd choose my own death for her and Hashirama to live."

Madara nodded, "Fine. Now scram before I change my mind."

But Tobirama was already running...

Madara stood there.

A hand was put on his shoulder.

"You did the right thing."

Did he?

"Hn. I know that dobe."

But was it?

Madara was only afraid of their love.

Afraid that it would cost his sister's life one day.

Little did he know how right he was...
