You make me feel so safe,

Like the whole world is held in my paint smeared hands,

And i have the ability and power to do anything.

You are so good at caring.

You're so intricate and loving in so many ways,

But carefree and reckless in others.

You're so exciting and calming at the same time.

our relationship is fun, sweet, and loving.

It makes me feel like i'm on a ferris wheel 24/7.

The cart we're in on the wheel is one of the swinging ones.

I've always been afraid of them, but you hold my hand and guide me through,

Letting me know that i'm not alone.

Sometimes the cart swings really hard, and you freak out a bit.

I reassure you.

It calms down, and so do you, and things are okay again.

But really, they always were.

The cart continues moving, slowly swinging, but I'm not afraid anymore.

Neither are you.

We're doing okay, slowly circling the wheel, smiling and enjoying each other's presence.

And enjoying the view, all on our own.

The cart inconsistently swings violently, scaring us both at different times.

Sometimes the same time.

But either way, we're there for each other.

Though we may not realize it in the moment, we know that we're not alone.

The violent cart is sometimes terrifying, sometimes numbing,

But no matter how shaken up we get...

at least we're on each other's side.
